Can't believe that Ike Reese is this scared of going against Joe Decamara in some round robin sports competition. Pathetic.

Interesting. Thats one TE I really havent paid attention to yet.

Apparently, another criminally under-used TE if I remember correctly (ie traits, no production).

From the university of wasting athletes. Sounds right.

Just to be sure you all know- St John's guard Darling is the son of former eagles LB James Darling. St Jons is playing Duke right now in the sweet 16.

I’m no expert but he feels like an odd visit for the Eagles. Seems like an average athlete who is mostly a blocking TE. I get the Eagles will bring in some Day 3 guys for official visits but there usually is either intrigue or they are better athletes.

OK. I saw a 1 minute highlight video, and the below scouting report. I already rate him above Roush. Seems like he belongs in the Gyllenborg tier of players. Could be good. Need development. Boerkircher is supposed to be an excellent blocker already, but looks like a better mover than Roush.

If you got the impact of a guy like Hamilton wouldnt that be worth a 1st round pick?

DeJean was a 1st rounder who fell to the 2nd due to injury. If the eagles actually moved him to safety like some people want, would you think he actually wouldnt have been worth a 1st round pick?

I think people are misunderstanding my point. I’m specifically talking about this draft in the Eagles’ current make up.

If Downs fell they would take him because he’s a blue-chip talent (like Hamilton). I don’t believe the Oregon guy or McNeill-Warren are good enough to take in round 1 considering Howie wants to get cheaper and younger on offense due to the amount of money our defense is going to cost moving forward. Maybe they would in a trade down, but IMO pick 23 will be a WR, OL, Sadiq (maybe) or a high-valued position on D like edge.

Will be 25 in September.

Well, we must have different opinions of how good McNeil-Warren and Thieneman are. Because I just think if they take an offensive pick, then theyve forced it. I dont see any offensive player at 23 being higher ranked than those safeties, or an edge player.

I get that we need offense, and how the money needs to shift, etc. But I think that goal can still be accomplished by taking those players when their position is at its strength such as a round 2-3 WR, a round 3-4 TE, a round 4-5 OT.... Those are where the values are for those positions in this draft. The defensive positions are more top heavy in this draft. The top CBs, Edges, Safeties, and LBs are just better players than the top OLs and WRs...

F that. Dont want. Waste of a top 30 visit.

They must be checking his bone density to see how far his osteoporosis has progressed.

I would strongly dislike Mesidore because of his age. But you probably at least get his production.

Why would you draft a later round 25 year old who needs development? I think I might hate that more than taking the 25 year old in round 1. I dont know, its tough to say which would bother me worse. Theyd both be really bad.

Yeah, I think it’s clear we see the talent differently, which is fine. I like the WRs OK in rounds 2-3, but I think there’s a clear drop off between them and a guy like Concepcion. Maybe Cooper, although I don’t love him. OT falls off a cliff after round 1 it seems (meaning a bunch of projects). The line might be at the Arizona State guy. I really like TE. Would be happy with Klare or Delp on day 2 and even grabbing another guy on day 3.

I’m not sure about the depth at guard in the draft.

I don’t think we have to force offense, but I think it falls in line well with our goal to get younger and cheaper on OL.

I could see a draft of:

1) Max Iheanachor

2) Chris Bell (I can dream)

3a) Klare

3b) Romello Heoght

Height is another old one I believe.

Im really not loving a lot of their top 30 list so far.

I like Chris Bell if we can really replicate the rams style of offense because he will have a role perfect for what his skill already is. But some people really dont like him much and he probably has a high bustability potential if not used properly. I dont have a big problem with either of your first 2 picks, but youre starting off with 2 big gambles. That feels extreeeeemely risky. Then Height, who is about to turn 25 before the draft I think...

The only pick there Ill love is Klare.

Id be mad at Howie that weekend.

If this was 4 years ago I'd consider it for sure, but bodies break down quickly. Long retired at 32 or 33. I forget when Reggie dropped off. If they move Carter they could get a lot of picks. At least what the Jets got for Williams. Combine that with an additional first and 2nd and that's too rich for my blood for a few years.

My feeling is they won a SB with one of the most dominating defenses we've seen since the Reggie days. All they had was Sweat, Hunt, BG, and Smith. They don't need an elite edge to be dominate like that again, which is what we are all hoping for. Maybe they have to give up a 3rd and a 5th to get someone at that level, but it lets them use the other picks to rebuild.

I Mmm The I

Kempski started out being a real jerk but eventually leveled off. Some of his stick figures are classic.

For one year, maybe. After that, no.

At the end of the day i have serious doubts that this is the last we hear about Carter's shoulders and we saw how badly that issue impacted him this year. With someone who plays as violently as he does, I imagine this is going to be a recurring issue. Trade him for Garrett, trade him for a bunch of picks, whatever. But (and I know this was not what you two said) I don't view Carter as "totally unavailable price be damned" piece like Q or Coop.

I don't understand what Pitino is doing in this second half. Prey is 4-4 from 3 and doesnt play in the 2nd half. Only 1 foul. Head scratcher

I just looked at Brugler’s top 100 and he had Height in the 90s and knew the Eagles brought him in for a visit. Feel free to swap someone else in there.

As for round 2 and the top of round 3, maybe Klare is our second round pick and a guy like Lance is our first pick in round 3.

Uggg we got more time hearing Boozer, Boozer, Boozer 🤦‍♂️

I think Pitino is one of the best of all time but that was all time dumb. Prey was on f'n fire from 3 and playing great defense. I dont get it.

He’ll be unplayable this year, but he has as much potential as any other OT in this draft. Would be a lot easier to get excited about Max with a more accomplished OL coach onboard.

Agreed but with Lane and Fred back they can afford to draft a player like him. Me personally, I would rather swing for the fences with him than draft someone safe like Blake Miller.

I like TJ Parker over Howell if he was available but I really like Dunker and Rutledge
