These guys are incredibly high on Concepcion

Matt Harmon does a great job of analyzing WR play. He loves him too.

Height weight speed guy

Been waiting for this pro day. You cant find anything to watch on youtube, but Im intrigued by the size, and now the 4.4 speed.

BPA is largely a myth unless it’s a player alone at the top in a tier by himself.

On this, we disagree.

I dont dislike the player. I just dont love the value at 23 for these smaller, short catch RAC types. Some guys translate it. Some guys become like Elijah Moore. Meanwhile, there are X WR types available in to the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Hope he hasn't died.

Sticking with my Stout retired conclusion.

Concepcion might not be a traditional X like AJB, he’s a guy you can move around the formation playing all three alignments. He can be a designed touch guy too. I like the comp to Emmanuel Sanders/Jayden Reed.

Gonna start compiling these lists for each round. Guys I'd love. Guys I'd like/be content with. Guys I'd dislike. Guys I'd hate.

Guys I'd love(either at 23 or realistic trade up):

Vega Ioane

Rueben Bain Jr(trade up if he fell into the teens)

Guys I'd like/be content with:

(Like)

Jordyn Tyson

Cashius Howell

TJ Parker

Monroe Freeling

(Content)

Kadyn Proctor - wouldn't love it, but would accept it given his upside

Max Iheanachor - same as above, but less so because 23 seems early for him, yet 54 would be late for him probably.

Avieon Terrell - not really an immediate need, but I think he's really good and couldn't get mad and taking a guy who gives you the best CB group in the NFL by far for years to come. I'd be content, but not in love with the pick.

Jermod McCoy - same as above. A tier below the like, I'd be content.

Guys I'd dislike:

Emmanuel McNeil-Warren - he's really good, but I just can't justify safety round 1. Wouldn't hate it, but would be disappointed.

Kenyon Sadiq - same as above. Really good, but can't justify a TE round 1 especially when he wouldn't play that much barring injury.

KC Concepcion - talented, but doesn't have WR1 potential and I'm flatly against taking WRs in round 1 without WR1 potential. You can find WRs in other rounds who can be guys who produce for you.

Makai Lemon - same as above.

Omar Cooper Jr - same as above.

Akheem Mesidor - can't justify taking a 25 year old as a rookie, I'm sorry. As productive as he is.

Keldrick Faulk - something about this guy I don't like or trust. Reminds me of Shemarr Stewart. Has athletic tools, but doesn't produce and doesn't look overwhelming enough as an athlete to use a 1st on. Pass.

Guys I'd hate:

Blake Miller - low upside, mid tier NFL OT. He'll be in the league for 7-10 years, but be not special in every one of those years. Hard pass, wasted pick.

Caleb Lumo - same as above.

Spencer Fano - putting this here because this would be a mega trade up, and I don't think this dude will be that good, let alone trading up for him which would likely cost a 2nd to move up high enough. But some beat guys have said trading up for an OT wouldn't surprise them, which to me would be insane in this OT class, but nonetheless, I've been dreading it. Dillard trade-up vibes.

Just something to keep in mind when saying you wouldn’t draft a guy in round 1 who doesn’t project to be a WR1: WR2s make big money. Look at Alec Pierce (maybe you want to call him a WR1), Romeo Doubs, Rasheed Shaheed, etc. A merely "good” No. 2 makes as much as some of the highest paid safeties, LBs, etc.

I think you are being a little shortsighted. I believe the Eagles value nickel skills at S and that makes sense. I think Coop, with his size, makes better sense at NCB. Curious how Carter does against A. J., Wilson and Darius Cooper in TC. Although looking at the top WRs in this class, size doesn’t seem to be at a premium. Note, both Mukuba and Carter play the run well.

I agree. Coop is almost a box safety at nickel. His diagnosis skills are as good as I have ever seen, he’s a great tackler, and he covers like a top corner.

I believe less than 50% of what I hear from agents. This is a Stout quote:

"Forty-four years is a long time to be in this business. It’s a grinding business, requires a lot of time away from your family. So I’m excited about doing ordinary things like going for a walk in the neighborhood with my wife Allison, or going to play golf in September. I have no idea what that’s like. I’m really excited about this whole new thing. And the other thing I’m very excited about is I really want to help people.”

Understood but at the same time he's still under contract and getting paid to do nothing, so he's going to have time to do all that in the next year.

Also in his statement he said he was done with the Eagles but never hinted at retiring. So it would be a bit surprising to me why he's avoiding saying he's retired in his statement or these podcasts if he really has decided to retire.

Love Reed.

I figure the Eagles tried to fill that move/slot player with Hollywood and Moore already and would rather look to draft an AJ replacement. That doesnt have to be a like for like talent, or a #1, but someone who can basically live on the outside.

Hurst, Lance, Fields, etc

Hot take

We have been lucky to have Jalen here for the time he has been, bounce back from Wentz to two SB appearances and one win with a SB mvp. Great leader/man, never an embarrassment and can handle this place and the media with the attitude necessary to do so. Is he a Burrow or Mahomes no but he is a great team QB and good enough to win everything or anything at any given time if he’s on. We can do so much worse.

That is true, but I look at it purely as what group of guys make for the best and most talented football team. Those guys make big money because other teams are desperate and dumb more than anything else.

I look for blue chip talent at the premium positions - QB, OT, DT, Edge, WR, CB - first, then you work outward.

I think he may have found what he wants to do going forward, helping people. He was very active in the Eagles Autism charity. I do wonder if the haven’t heard anything isn’t an invitation to the team to ask. If they do, I could see something like him visiting during the OTAs, TC, kind of like we have seen with Kelce, but I doubt he goes back to full time coaching. We have seen players talking about the stress that goes with playing. Have to believe that is true for coaches too. Once you step away in retirement from a high stress position, a lot of people don’t want to jump back in. He’s 64 and will be 65 next year. That’s also why Vic keeps contemplating retiring.

Let’s face it. Do you really think Philly will be frequenting bars for FIFA or America 250? More likely Phillies and Birds. Maybe even 76ers and Flyers.

Just watched a news report on the Tiger Woods crash.

Tried to overtake some type of large work vehicle on a 2 lane road. Swerved, clipped the truck, rolled. No one hurt. Took breathalyzer and blew 0s. Refused urine test and charged with refusal and DUI.

No other passengers. No drugs found.

I stick to my original statement. Dude is an idiot. Charged with DUI
