I can't be upset about beating the Saints because its over and done with.  Why worry about the past?

We don't want to be in a situation where Jerry Jones can hold the prospects we want hostage in the draft.  That's far more important than a meaningless win in a lost season.

Did you want to beat the Saints ??

Nope.  But I wanted Hurts to play well.  Can't win (or lose) 'em all.

I don't understand this obsession with the Cowboys that many Eagles fans have.  Prob since I wasn't around for the beatdowns in the 60's and 70's.

The Cowboys, along with the Washington Team have been irrelevant for a quarter of a century.  I don't care at all what happens to them.  All I care about is what is best for the Eagles.

I'm torn on whether I want the Eagles to win on Sunday.  I do want a high pick but I dont like losing to any division rival.

I'd settle for a loss where we get robbed on a bad call in the end of the game but Jalen and the team play good.

NFL is built on rivalries, and Eagles Cowboys is one of the biggest.  Sounds like you are a young fan.  Gotta understand the history of your team.

If you care what is best for the Eagles, you should be upset about beating the Saints.

Older folks than me would point to the Giants as the bigger rivalry.

Cowboys week is when all the draft nonsense and positioning does not matter. You are in a less than 1% group who does not understand the rivalry.

YOU ALWAYS BEAT DALLAS.  F the Cowboys.

Yes, and for me they are right there with the Cowboys, but the America’s team nonsense puts it over the top.

Yeah my understanding is historically the two biggest rivalries in the NFC East are Eagles/Giants and Cowboys/Team.

Our Giants rivalry has been far more relevant in the last two decades also.

I feel all 3 division rivals are heated, intense games especially for fans.

Dallas is maybe a little more because they always have the media spotlight whether they're winning or losing.

I would root for Washington over Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New England, New Orleans, or Seattle

Just realized we have NFL football today.  NO vs. MIN.

I assume there have been games on Christmas if on a Thurs/Sat/Sun/Mon, but has there ever been a game on a Friday before?

Not a huge fan of NFL everyday.  Risk of oversaturating the market.

But then it burns away and you're left with nothing but ashes.

It’s rare obviously, but yes.

Merry Christmas!

A Vikings W guarantees we draft before them. Go Minnesota!

Merry Christmas, Ladies and Gents!

We lost 5 days worth of posts yesterday when our hosting site did an update.

Getting Smith, but losing McLaurin, is a massive blow to Washington. If neither plays, then Washington is in big trouble.

The season would truly come full circle if the Eagles hosted WFT for the division, and Doug let their front 4 tee off on Hurts the same way they did against Wentz

i want hurts to play well and put up 35, and the defense/sts to play like stink and give up 36

so long as we lose and get a top 5 draft pick

so we can draft another qb for our factory

I'm kind of the same way but then I didn't grow up in this area. Dallas has 4X their share of fair weather fans which may have something to do with it. Say what you will about Jerry Jones but that organization has some serious marketing savvy.

And in true Eagles form, the Eagles win....unleashing, well, unleashing all sorts of crazy sh**.

I felt extremely achey and lethargic for about 2 days after mine.  Certainly worth it, but don’t be alarmed if you feel off for a bit.

The FAA is telling pilots not to fly for 48 hours after receiving the vaccine so you're probably not alone.

No matter what we should want Hurts to do well.

Best case - HURTSAMANIA runs wild but we lose close due to crippled secondary!

I want every Eagle to do well.  And I want to humiliate Dallas every chance we get

Good, wanted to make sure you weren’t licking door handles (yet). Merry Christmas!

Haha, thanks. I’m still social distancing and mask wearing, and will do so until this S is over.
