I wonder if Lurie actually understands the fans feelings after this season?  The level of incompetence is on many levels. This isn't Saints playoff loss in the 2018 season; fans are po'd and the media are out for blood.  Changing the deckchairs and music selection on the Titanic won't stop it sinking.  The moment for the Eagles to blow it all up is now. Not in a years time. It'll be another year of cap can kicking, another year of young players stuck in first gear, etc.

Ugh

He's been insulated, since there are no fans allowed.

DT is where you over invest in imo. The way the game is being called I think the best defenses will be the ones that can consistently collapse the pocket. Malik was not a good signing but I don’t think it was horrible either.

I’m predicting right now the Eagles go 10-6 in 2021

Yup.....its always the seasons where we are expected to be a losing team and finish 3rd or 4th in the division that they actually do well.

When the Eagles are expected to be good is when they disappoint.

Make Howie play as punishment for all the messed up drafts. Make him take a LB on head on.

I don’t think so, probably just emergency. Toth said the other day he was taking all the first team LT reps

Yeah.... I can hope though.   I was high on Prince during the draft process.  Very pleased when he was drafted here.   Hopefully he's healthy now and ready to jump in though.

Play Doug Pederson at QB

And let Carson call the plays.

"Let’s go with a seven step drop deep out to Greg Ward here, Young and Sweat will never see it coming.”

I guess this thread closes tomorrow for the off-season thread.

Who's going to start the off-season thread after the game?  First come, first serve?

I think there's a pretty good chance Matt Burke is Schwartz's replacement. Reuben Frank and Dave Zangaro even speculated that Burke was brought here two years ago for this very reason. Schwartz has taken time off before, most recently in 2015 after his tenure as Bills' DC.

I thought he was a great value in the 6th round.  Will be interesting to see what he looks like.  Really hoping he (at least) looks better than Pryor has looked.

Podcast actually. Thanks for your thoughts.

I can't believe this season is already over.

I predict more of the same next year.

Schwartz loves his Gerry's, Maddox' s, Mills, he doesn't want linebackers. If he wanted specific players Howie would have gotten them for him. This defense was bad because of Schwartz just as much as Howie.

He basically said in a pre season presser when asked about the LBr's that he was given poop to work with and he can only do so much.....

Top five defense that year. I’m glad some people can recognize the job he did beyond giving up 33 points in LII.

With Mills as the #1 CB and some random guys off the streets everywhere else.

If you want to know just how bad this season was, the Eagles haven’t had a season where the team scored 29 or less points in every single game since 1998. Tomorrow will probably be the next.

So basically we are going into next season with Howie, Doug, Wentz and a Schwartz assistant, banking on a healthy Lane and Brooks to be the difference maker and are expecting a different result?

As you get older life travels faster and faster.  This will truly be a fascinating offseason, though.

That's why a post season would've been nice, although not having one is going to simplify my schedule.

The 2014 NFC South only had a total of 22 wins.  With 2 wins tomorrow the NFC East will combine for a total of 23 wins.

Someone must have told Lurie this to explain that the Eagles haven’t finished last in the worst division in modern history, so there isn’t any need for firings.  The scary part is the Eagles could still finish ahead of the Giants
