Ipiggles
By Halftime I had noticed that Wentz did not have his normal mobility, He was also missing throws high and they refused to move the pocket for him, even though the Line was decimated by injuries, and inexperienced. Under Pressure he had only two moves, Step up in the pocket or duck, he did not have the ability to display his normal usual athletic ability and he refused to move laterally. They did do a QB Sneak for 2 plus yards which was surprising, but that was it. Made me think that lower body injury he had last week is a sports hernia or something serious. b_west3
Hell it might've come from that stupid play where he tucked his head right into on oncoming defender and got his neck pushed in.
EazyEaglez
This is clearly speculation, but when it comes to Carson I wouldn’t be surprised.

I'm not doubting he's a smart guy, but he just makes some stupid Fing mistakes that a 4 year veteran shouldn't be making. His body language was atrocious today, and this is coming off of his first off-season uninjured. I want to like the guy, but I'm about done with him. Sad to think that he more than likely hit his ceiling in 2017.

Wentz had TWO broken legs, was in agony, and the people around him- the atmosphere and people were in pure panic mode. I know that sounds horrible, but that was the nightmare I had, and I was never going to mention it, until I saw Wentz getting tossed around like a rag doll all day. I was saying "It was only a dream, he isn't going to get hurt badly..." I am glad he didn't get seriously hurt. I am glad nightmares are only dreams. But damn, that dream had such a real feeling to it, that I held my breath a LOT today as I watched Wentz get pummeled. It got hard to watch it. Oh well, onward and upward. Side note: 5 years into his career and WentZ STILL can't just throw the damn ball away to avoid a sack. He DOES cause some of his own injuries doing shi* like that. THROW the F ing ball away and live to play another down! Makes me sick that he still does that 5 years into his career.

When I see so many excuses thrown up for him I can’t help but to think he’s not as good as we think he is if we keep having to make excuses for him.

Whether he's mentally panicked or physically rattled by that, he can't throw accurate passes and he makes stupid decisions for the remainder of the game.

Clearly the hits took their toll on him today. He was definitely rattled out there. It’s almost inexplicable how quickly he turned. He went from throwing a touchdown to Goedert to throwing a pick and missing his next 6 passes. He needs to become mentally tougher. Of course it doesn’t help knowing his replacement is sitting on the sidelines waiting.

No, not Wentz!! Unless he suffered the sports hernia in 2016 and hasn’t had it fixed yet. Yeah, that’s it. Damn sports hernia also causing him to hold on to the ball and take unnecessary sacks!

Don’t forget that hernia is causing him to be late on throws to the outside, forcing him to throw deep every other play, occasionally throw into double coverage, think he can run over safeties, and fumble nearly every game. His field awareness is garbo, if he hits a wide-open Djax here it's definitely a first down and likely a TD with his speed 3 1
EaglesfanfromND
Not sure what happened with him today but something wasn't right after that 3rd or fourth drive. That first int was really weird to me because he knows you can't loft that throw, that needs to be on a rope to the sidelines. It was almost like he couldn't put anything on it. Then his accuracy just went to crap after that. The oline and lack of running game certainly didn't help and Doug didn't do them any favors with his play calling. He continues to make the same mistakes with sailing passes over the heads of his receivers and taking unnecessary sacks rather than throwing the ball away that you might expect from a QB in his 1st or 2nd year ... not a QB entering his 5th season.

He would swear that guy who’s 10 yards downfield and turned around would have teleported and picked it off so that’s why Carson didn’t throw it there. 😂

Everyone wants to praise him for the turnaround last season and for what? Beating up on the Giants, Redskins, and a Cowboys team that quit?

Was it the Atlanta game, the Patriots game, Seahawks game, the first Cowboys game, or the Dolphins game? On a side note he wasn’t very good in the Jets game, but they won.

The fact Hurts didn’t play at all has me thinking they’re not grooming him to be Taysom Hill. They’re grooming him to take over. Maybe they find room for him next game, but in a game where the offense was sputtering, the run game was nonexistent, and they found a way to throw it over 40 times you would think they could get Huts in for at least a series or two.
DBW
It’s an interesting thing to speculate. He didn’t have any mobility today that’s for sure. I was screaming at the tv to "roll him out and move the pocket” so even my average football IQ knows that’s one way to beat a constant barrage of blitz packages. Unless they have gotten in his head so much about not running to protect his body, there very well could be a physical issue he’s hiding. It would be devastating for him to admit so much and an ingrown toenail.
