Right!!

However there is a problem with those draft picks, his name is Howie.

Very true. To me getting rid of Howie would do more to fix what ails the Eagles than anything else.

I’m not fully sure what happened with the Texans that made him sour on them. There could be an issue with ownership as whole. Could be promises they failed to keep. Allegedly Carson still has issues with the Eagles even though they did what he wanted and dumped Doug. You never know what makes these guys and their egos tick. Heck he could get those types of endorsements playing for the other NY team that has more talent and is desperate for a quarterback too. On a side note Matt Stafford was basically good with being traded to any team but the Patriots!?! I just don’t get how some of these guys think. 😂

Well it was said that Watson was going to be part of the search for a new GM and coach and they didn't involve him at all. The other side of that was apparently they were not to into the social injustice movement.

Giants like Daniel Jones I don't think they are desperate or are ready to move on just yet.

Stafford didn't want to go to the Patriots because Patricia went back there lol. That whole lions team hated his guts lol

I don’t think it is logistically feasible, but the word is Watson wants to go to the Jets (which frankly seems crazy) so I don’t know why he wouldn’t consider the Eagles. At least Philly has a decent offensive line when they’re healthy. I agree though. I don’t think it would be good to replace one headache with another despite how talented that guy is. If the Eagles trade Carson I would prefer it were for additional draftpicks rather than another team’s problems. The Eagles have a lot of holes to fix. They need to get more picks and not give them away.

I'd rather picks too.... However, I don't think it really matters. Like I said earlier we are not going to get any real answers to a lot of this crap going on probably till after this season. I mean if carson moves this year then yeah we know that but, we still have questions on 30 other things. Most of those things won't be answered anytime soon.

I didn’t even realize Patricia went back to the Patriots. 😂 Can’t blame him there I guess. Sounds like promises were made to Watson the Texans didn’t deliver on. Even so I don’t want the Eagles to touch him. You never know what could set a guy like that off and then the Eagles are back to square one.

We will at least know who the players are by the end of the draft. It’s going to be interesting to see if this very young and inexperienced coaching staff will be able to motivate the veterans on this team and improve the young players.

Lol yeah they didn't even give him a position. They just called him the assistant to the head coach lol. So I guess he will be getting Belichicks coffee

Out the veterans that are left I don't think it will be a problem. I don't see any of them being the type to not listen to a coach. Most of them are still here from Chip and they listened to that jack ass lol

I guess the means Jackson is gone then? 😂

You know it.

When I saw him last year staring at the line rather than staring downfield I believed he was cooked at that moment. Teams are going pressure him and once he starts getting hit then he’s going to make bad mistakes with the football.  It’s all cumulative in my opinion. The injuries, the bad mechanics, the questionable decision making, holding the ball too long, the turnovers, and the apparent coddling by the organization has all added up. Carson’s backups have historically had more success with the team than him. This guy has proven time and time again he’s replaceable. Carson’s last three seasons he’s won 5 games, 9 games, and 3 games. The Eagles don’t really need him out there to suck. If he’s as good as everyone tries to claim he is then the team shouldn’t be so mediocre when he’s out there. The Eagles average 7 wins a season with Carson under center yet people are acting like this guy is revolutionizing the game. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I woke up this morning ready to hear this board gushing over more Carson. And I read this, finally someone who gets it! Sweet Christmas, the most glaring thing is when not 1, but 2 of your backups out played Carson. One a cold ass rookie and another was an extra in napoleon dynamite.

I'm just saying most said no team would dump a QB with that much dead money, but they did. Least that team won't have to wait years to move on.

Like you mentioned the sooner they dump him the sooner they can move on. I believe they’re out of the woods with his contract by 2022 if they do it before March. If they wait a year it only gets more complicated to move him.

I kind of have to disagree the Eagles will have to give up picks for Wentz. The Rams got a better quarterback, but they definitely overpaid. No chance the Eagles are giving up picks to dump Wentz.

It’s all good. Next year when CW is staring at the line taking sacks, and getting booed for it we can read his apology posse tell us how it’s everyone but Carson’s fault he stinks again.

For as much crap as the Eagles get they aren't an organization like the Rams who gives out draft picks like candy. The Rams got bent over without lube in that Stafford/Goff deal. The Eagles won't make the same mistake and if it means they hold onto Wentz as opposed to getting taking to the cleaners they will.

McVay was embarrassed by the Patriots scoring 3 points  in the SB, while Doug beat them with a back up.

Hopefully Stafford proves McVay to be the genius everyone claims.

Doug owned McVay nearly every time he coached against him. For as talented of a team he’s had frankly I expected more from them. I don’t know how they have the picks or the cap room to just keep doing the things they do.

It is going to catch up with them at some point in the not too distant future. They have gone all in to win the SB in the next 2-3 years and if they don't achieve that then I suspect McVay will be out of a job not too long after.

Dude wants out. Nothing good will come from this dude staying.

I wonder if there is anybody except owner and GM that actually want him to stay at this point
