I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

Brown said F that I brake for nobody

If this has already been mentioned I apologize in advance.

Puka Nacua left practice today with a calf injury. Rams getting hit with the injury bug now.

Edit, Rams injury list:

Cornerback Trent McDuffie and linebacker Nate Landman are both questionable and didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. Defensive lineman Myles Garrett, Poona Ford and Kobie Turner, wideout Davante Adams and tight end Terrance Ferguson are all on injured reserve. Kicker Blake Grupe is out for the season with a torn ACL.

I’m curious on what the Rams do with him. Cause he’s on the last year of his contract. You would think being one of the best wide receivers in the league, they would already have a deal done. But his off the field stuff is an issue. It feels like they’re going to franchise tag him. And if Matt Stafford retires, then try to trade him and cash in on him. Or go for it for another year if Matt Stafford comes back. And maybe franchise him a second time and then try to deal him at that point to recover some of their picks

Tbh both times it change the game

Makes me happy that bill Simmons had to watch Jaylen brown down the stretch of that game take over for the Sixers

This is Brown and Maxey's team. Embiid, Lebron and VJ can just fill the gaps nicely and play complementary roles. Looking forward to adding Dean's 3 point shooting & defense with Barlow's offensive boards and transition buckets. Can't play these starters too many minutes this early in the season.

Hmm, only my second NBA game but that looked like some 76'ers magic to me.

They need to get themselves a legitimate backup center. That’s really the one thing that this team is missing. Bona is not good enough for that role and they’ll need it at some point when Embiid misses games

Reminds me of the sudden appearance of Hawks fans during that LoB era. They popped up out of nowhere lol

Yeah that was the worst.

We went to a game and got tickets for 78 bucks for our anniversary the one year. Like a year or two later they were 200 a piece and worse seats haven't been back since

As long as Maxey and Brown lead the way the Sixers are a viable team. As soon as LeBron and Embiid decide they want to takeover it’ll be a boat with a lot of holes in the bottom.

Yup. They will hopefully add one by early December, when they can add that 15th roster spot and stay under that hard apron. Taco ain't it. And I don't think Huckporti was either. Like to see Barlow get minutes there. Looked good in the playoffs last year.

AJ brown with another clutch drop.

Defender is grabbing both arms before the ball arrives and never turns his head around to find the ball, that’s PI, and I promise you if he’s wearing PHI green you would say the same thing.

Yup. Gotta give credit to Howie on that move and the recent Jurgens move. But it's not helping this year's team. He needs to just keep getting picks and dumping the players who are not part of the future core, especially any older guys. There's plenty more to go here.

Could be. But he's just been bad at drawing PI flags. He's gotta sell that better.

So you're rooting for a tank. Got it

Answer my question.

What do you think a Bears loss is going to do for the Eagles? Realistically what possible benefit of that do you see for the Eagles if the Bears lose as opposed to win?

Do you think the Eagles will win enough games to not only win the division but finish with 1 more win than the Bears to seed higher? You think that is a realistic outcome? Bears have 2 more wins than the Eagles including a win over the Eagles.

The outcome of this game is irrelevant for the Eagles quest to the playoffs which is only happening through winning this terrible division. The Bears winning though does help the Eagles get a better 5th round pick from the Patriots.

The Patriots losing to better the draft position of their pick that we own has nothing to do with the Eagles tanking.

Doink

Told you guys with AJ it was more him losing it than it was effort. You know he’s giving what he’s got now and it doesn’t look any different from last year when everyone said he wasn’t trying. The drops may seem new starting 2025, but when you can’t separate anymore and are putting everything you have into keeping up with the bad wheels, other things fail too.

I think the AJ Brown trade may be better in magnitude than the Greenard trade was bad, but it’s close.
