My point that his size/talent was worth taking a risk on considering the options on the roster and the fact that he excelled with the Eagles.

Probably will happen in GB too. Leagues most dominant OG is hyperbolic. He was good here. Leagues most dominant OG's don't settle for 2 years $20M on the open market, get cut after a year and then is out of the league until after Week 3 the following season.I also don't like the scheme fit here with him and the Eagles wanting to run more OZ. If they decided to bring him back as depth, whatever. Banking on him being a starter and upgrade would be the forced error.

They know him well. They saw the tape from last season. They, like all teams, asked around. And they, like 31 other teams, chose not to give him a sniff until today.

The view of it was clear from his vantage point too.
September 28Sep 28 I hate coming into this thread, because I feel so lost. Like, what the hell happened in the Rams game?? WTF is a "snow bunny”? The Giants traded for WHO??? We couldn’t give them Dalton for a kicking tee or a 6th rounder?? When do the Eagles play? What day is it?

Sure, Simmons beat him one on one. I think that is a scheme issue. The running game is more of an issue. I don't think Becton would fix that for the team unless he plays TE.

A racial slur for Justin Herberts apparently. JJ McCarthy. No and no. 8:15 EST. Monday. There. You're caught up!

What day is it?1) The Rams lost, in part, due to a bad PI call that negated an INT. 2) The Giants traded a 5th for JJAW McCarthy3) Snow Bunny is a small snow play area in Mount Hood National Forest on the south face of Mount Hood in Oregon, United States, about 65 miles (105 km) east of Portland. Inner tubing, tobogganing and other snow sports are on a maintained 20-foot (6.1 m) to 30-foot (9.1 m) hill of snow, popular with young children and families. It was established in 1952 as Mount Hood's first snow play area for children.[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_Bunny

September 28Sep 28 Author We are currently the least penalized team in the league. The Bears are the second most.Only two pre-snap penalties so far.

September 28Sep 28 It could very likely be that he was great for us because he was playing next to a hall of fame RT. That and Stout was able to get all Becton had

Just that the risk/reward in bringing him to see how he worked out was worth it. Oh well, at least we have whatever the hell this is...

With the Eagles it was basically kill what moves where I don't think he'd fit what they are doing now.

Either way, I'll trust Howie and the coaching staff on this one.

Which is why we moved on from StoutSo I understand why he didn't do well after leaving
