In retrospect they should have used the pick on the OL and resigned him last year. Hope his body holds up. Bless him for not going to Dallas. He did us a solid.

I don't find it mutually exclusive, you can enjoy the game and also be analytical. Just gotta compartmentalize.

Oh I definitely do that too. I just know by now the analysis is part of the fun but fairly meaningless.

We'll see how the Birds look tomorrow. Knee jerk reaction is I wish Howie would have done more at guard and safety. Steen is fine PB but he can't RB for crap. You can live with that if you don't have a broken down LG you knew was iffy all offseason. Looks like he got the RT and C of the future, but his plan B of moving another broken down guy over is more desperation than a good plan.

He saw how important CJG was to the SB teams, knew the kid has the body of Maddox, and that Epps is JAG. When you have two question marks at safety you don't draft or sign a plan B? We'll see how the recent patches do but the Rams sure made some good moves.

I actually like Kenny Moore. The issue to me is you rather him been here way earlier to learn the defense. And be acclimated. And have likely better chemistry with the other guys on the defense. I still think at the trade deadline that they’re going to trade for a safety. They might trade for an offensive lineman as well, depending on how the line looks when we get closer to the deadline.

The only in season trade that made a difference was Ajayi. We'll see. Like you said I wish he made a fee moves prior to this because they were obvious needs.

If the Saints lose a few more I could see Justin Reid. That seems like a position and contract they could take and they interest in him before.

Have a hard time seeing the Saints trading guys, that division is terrible. Tampa Bay has been awful and they’re one game out of first place. It feels like that division is gonna be won by a team with a below 500 record. Frankly, I actually think the Saints are the best team in that division.

What about the '94 finale against the Bengals? Kotite's last game. The Bengals tied it on a field goal with about four seconds left. The Eagles muffed the ensuing kickoff, the Bengals recovered with a couple seconds left and kicked a winning field goal. Would that not be considered a game winning drive?

Oh, I guess the point is after receiving a kickoff rather than kicking off.

Rams fans are crying hard about the refs on X. Total meltdowns happening.

The Eagles have a chance to send the Bears to 1-2 tonight and Rams to 1-3 next week. This is a crazy turn early in the season.

Eagles: 17

Bears: 13

Bonus: Z.Baun with 1 INT

Tonight’s game feels like bad news for us for some reason. I want to be wrong but playing down to a backup and letting Swift run for 200 yrds wouldn’t surprise me

Sadly as we saw with Washington and the GMen, there's always seems to be a "Backup Energy Bump" when the starter goes down. The team will rally around the QB. Sometimes it last for a whole game, sometimes a few series. But while everyone harps on the 200 yards on Black Friday, what they don't harp on is the fact the Bears only scored 24 points off all that. Which means the Defense actually held up where it matters most. It was a bend don't break. The Offense only scored 15 points, that was a winnable game. this Offense should play better tomorrow and the Defense better handle Tyson or Old Man Keenum, whoever plays. Lastly, LOL @ The Boys. I just looked it up, they are now 1-7 All Time Vs the Ravens. I don't know what it's like to have my team lose in Brazil or overseas (Eagles are 2-0 internationally).

Game tonight.

Interesting to see the NFL are now praising total touchdowns. Jalen gets punished for total touchdowns, but now Josh Allen gets praised for them. Not for nothing, but if the following was Jalen’s stat line in a win, they would be calling for him to be benched and not calling him the best.

16/26 204 0tds 2ints Passer Rating 54. Rush 8 22yrds 2tds. That’s "Running back playing quarterback, and being carried type stats.

Hurts with a TD run

Another week, another boatload of posts from people criticizing other QBs to try to prop up Hurts while no one is even talking about Hurts. Apparently thats good reading.

One post about something Hurts does wrong though- cant have that. Trolling.

I don't know how to tell you that using that term is just as racist as the N word. Racism is racism no matter what color the person using the term is.

Until we all realize this and take steps to change racism will always exist.
