By definition that's what makes it kind of pointless to try to read too much into it. Because sometimes things stay the same and sometimes they change.

I watch sports to enjoy the game I'm watching. Of course I evaluate the current state of the team but I recognize that saying 'if the Eagles don't play better next week' is ultimately kind of meaningless. Sometimes they do and win and sometimes they don't and still win.

I really don’t get why the Broncos didn’t try an easy pass and catch or run the ball on second down to make the Rams burn their last timeout

I don't find it mutually exclusive, you can enjoy the game and also be analytical. Just gotta compartmentalize.

And the Bucs never won in the cold until the last game at the Vet. We'll see but they have a damn good team. If it was later in the year I'd be more confident about it but the Birds as of tonight aren't close to figuring it out yet. The OL is figuring out the zone and can't block and the defense isn't clicking yet. I'm curious to see how they look tomorrow before I have a feeling about next week.

I'd have to see a replay but he may have been thinking this is the last play and he is the only one with a shot.

We'll see how the Birds look tomorrow. Knee jerk reaction is I wish Howie would have done more at guard and safety. Steen is fine PB but he can't RB for crap. You can live with that if you don't have a broken down LG you knew was iffy all offseason. Looks like he got the RT and C of the future, but his plan B of moving another broken down guy over is more desperation than a good plan.

He saw how important CJG was to the SB teams, knew the kid has the body of Maddox, and that Epps is JAG. When you have two question marks at safety you don't draft or sign a plan B? We'll see how the recent patches do but the Rams sure made some good moves.
