You can’t physically expect a DB to just stop on a dime and clear the way for a WR to come back for an under thrown ball. Common sense needs to be applied on poor passes like that and not be rewarded. Or just change the PI rule to college 15 yards which has always been my belief.

I have jsn. I love every expert was like oh he’s not gonna be as good this year. Obviously he’s not gonna put up those type of numbers. But go look at Seattle’s receiving corps. He still like the only one there that’s a good receiver. I like Shaheed, but he’s not a great wide receiver. And kupp isn’t a high volume guy anymore either.

That said better have Darnold healthy going forward otherwise the Seahawks are screwed.

It’s a hard play but they have to play the ball. If momentum was an exception to PI, it would be a defensive strategy.

We got the 2028 pick not 2027. But we do have their 5th rounder in 2027 so we can get the first pick in the 5th if it goes your way

he was really only there because of how far it was under thrown. He keeps his head up and sees AJ stop and turn he probably picks that ball. But in all reality he had his head down sprinting hoping he could catch up and make a tackle if possible.

Yup, it’s the rule. Nothing the DB can do, you just have to accept it. Jobe running with his head down was the main problem. His eyes are remotely up and sees AJ turn he’s picking that ball or at least forcing the refs to decide DPI vs OPI.

If Darnold injury is serious, it basically takes away one contender in the nfc. I like Seattle’s defense but it’s not great enough to overcome that injury and lock at Qb for 17 weeks
