Honestly, that’s why I was ok with taking McBride last year in the 3rd. After the top 2 there is a huge drop. You can, in theory, have a huge advantage at that slot then if you hit a later pick that you flex your WR/RB corps are in line or better with everyone else.

I’ve honestly been discounting RB2. Seems to be the easiest place to make up for with aggressive wavier plays.

AJ isn't going to pout week 1. I absolutely think there's as much physical decline to AJ as there is malcontent issues. In fact, I'd argue that led to it. If he were still the same WR, the targets would have been there. When you don't move as well, the effort looks worse on TV, especially when we are accustomed to how explosive he was.

16 games worked. It was the right number. If the NFL cared about player health, they wouldn't be adding games to the grind. They want money. Of course, if players cared about player health, they'd fight back harder. Instead, they are leveraging the extra game(s) into other things they want.

That said, it's a total gimmick, but a fun mental exercise....I did hear a proposal that you do an 18 game season but each player is limited to 16 games.

@NCiggles and I can assure you, many a time a cop in an accident case is dismantled by cross examination, mechanical experts with far more substantial credentials. Here we have a supposed replacement of a beat cop by a different cop. Would be highly unusual in a fender bender. They only bring in the more experienced and trained accident investigators if there is a clear criminal case.

Washed AJ not even moving the needle for the Patriots. Their offense was pitiful in the Super Bowl. AJ views himself as still some superstar potentially best WR in the league and he hasn't moved the needle at all for them in this Super Bowl match up.
