September 10Sep 10 I didnt see the play but if its a hip, its pretty unlikely to be serious. Its very rare to dislocate. Its really hard to fracture unless you are older with brittle bones. One typical and more severe injury would be a sports hernia but those are usually referred to as core injuries rather than hip injuries.Another more likely injury might be a hip pointer which wouldnt be a long term thing at all.

September 10Sep 10 First QB casualty two hours into the season. I wish we weren't dicking around with our backup situation.

September 10Sep 10 Wow Lock sucks, 3 different options wide open to gain yards and he decides to choose none lol
September 10Sep 10 Thats a crazy call. the camera angle was not straight down the line. It looked very likely that his body AND the ball were beyond the line if you had a proper shot.

With a busier schedule like in basketball, you can see a player miss a few games. With a week between games, Darnold would be extremely likely to be ready to play next week.

September 10Sep 10 If Darnold is out for the year or most of it then the Seahawks need to meet the Bengals price for Joe Flacco. I think he is by far the best trade option for them.

Looked like his foot skipped weird, I think it’s more likely a pulled jawner.

If they do, they can pretty much surely play the season with it and fix it in the offseason. Steroid injections are very effective in treating hip labrum symptoms.

Tired team, elite defense, and a bad offense that is just going to grind on that defense. We still have a freaking 8 game losing streak to that team and have not eclipsed 17 points in any of those games...so I doubt we'll beat a still solid Seahawks team this year, but I'm not feeling it for the Seahawks.

I’m guessing if it’s that it’s bad enough he can’t.I think it wouldnt be a big issue. The issue with the torn labrum is if you have a cam or pincer that causes recurring issues. Then you get that shaved off to prevent it from continuing. Those things tend to fray on the labrum and cause pain.Torn hip labrum is not really that painful and again, a steroid injection to take away inflammation pretty effectively treats the pain. Its not like in the shoulder where the torn labrum can cause significant instability. Its mostly a treat the pain injury rather than worry about fixing it. Because without the pain you typically dont have any issues.
