October 6Oct 6 Tyler Shough just did what Hurts has not learned to do. Pressure, stepped up into more pressure, broke the pocket, kept his eyes up directing traffic, and waited it out to the last second and then took the 2 yard gain.

October 6Oct 6 Hurts has a chance to prove he’s a franchise QB on Sunday. The Jags are good but they’re the Jags. They’ll make the playoffs and maybe win one game but no more because they aren’t physical enough. This will be a winnable game.

No apologies!!! I wouldn't change a thing about what I posted. On a human level hope he heals fast. There doesn't need to be a disclaimer or a moment of silence before saying as a fan of the team HELL YES someone else is starting!!!! Is the "self reporting" situation funny? Absolutely and I'm not apologizing for finding humor in it. We don't have to be wound so tight.Har har I’m diehardfan I’m so cool I got a tv faster than everyone else’s so I can post on the blog 2 minutes before anyone sees what happens. Har har har and I’m real tough and think it’s cool when players get hurt. Har har har people want me to post on here what happens and that’s why I’m so cool har har har

The fact you tried to put thought into writing that says a lot 🤣
October 6Oct 6 We’re one more poor week away from Mannion going down to the sideline to call plays being a story.

October 6Oct 6 Hurts played like garbage for the last 6 quarters. I am not going to excuse him for that. I also think it might be time for the organization to make massive changes in 2027 which starts with the dope head coach but also includes the QB. That being said, if you don't think coaching matters all you had to do was watch the SNF and MNF games. Sirianni has continued to get less out of the offensive talent on this team over several seasons and multiple OC's. I don't care if you aren't calling plays, if you are an offensive minded head coach that is not going to work. The thing that makes it even worse is how he continues to meddle in the offense and make things worse. At some point Howie and Lurie need to be accountable for letting this go on for way too long.Meanwhile I just watched two QB's (Young and Penix) who looked like they shouldn't be playing in the league at times in their career look amazing the last two nights. Bryce Young has been extremely good through 4 games and Penix came right in off of no training camp and has been extremely efficient for 2 straight games. Just look at the team we are about to play. Baker Mayfield never looked anything like he did before or after that one year with Liam Coen. Trevor Lawrence looked like a massive bust and over the last year and a half Coen has him playing at an elite level.I get that the Eagles won a SB with Sirianni as the head coach but it was nothing more than lightning in a bottle. They had a historic offensive line, a historic season from one of the most talented RB's over the last 20 years, and a elite talent on defense run by Vic Fangio. Having a CEO head coach who is an offensive coach but doesn't call plays and can't seem to get the team consistently buttoned up when it comes to penalties, simple execution, etc, who also makes a lot of dumb decision simply isn't going to work.

Jenkins is a waste and Johnny was brought in for his "blocking".... that mf has missed so many assignments his ass needs to be benchedJohnny MundtEJ JenkinsAndy DaltonAJ EpensaMany guys on this roster that are just taking up a roster spot / failed off-season acquisitions who have not delivered what they were brought for. As a result they are not contributing much to this season, and have limited / no futures here. And to think we had 4 players claimed on cutdown day - would have been nice to keep Gush / Cam Williams who at least have a chance to develop into contributors / help out ST.

He still makes a few plays with his legs but but just isnt the threat he was back then,What I see is that he is just less decisive to run and waits too long. He was never the quickest guy, but has nice speed when he gets going. Early on, when he didn't see an open receiver, he immediately looked to run. Now, he stands there holding the ball a lot longer. Often, by the time he commits to running, the defender is already coming toward him full speed. Fans think he's slower now and that's just silly. Last year, according to NGS he had several runs where he reached a higher speed on the year than any of Lamar Jackson's fastest speeds (in 2025). When you compare the two, Lamar is definitely quicker, which shows up in his forty time compared to Hurts, but when both guys reach full speed, they are pretty equal.Jalen hasn't had enough runs yet this year to show you his speed is still there, but eventually, we'll get a few examples.

It never mobilizes or chugs as hard as it does for a first round pick on a rookie deal after a horrible year.I think he's going to suck in training camp next year. You don't need to worry about him winning 2027 Nasty Nate.
October 6Oct 6 I'm sure I'm not the only one who takes losses hard and who feels absolutely miserable for days. It just takes a lot out of me. But it got me to thinking...the losses are SUPPOSED to make you feel like crap. Otherwise, the euphoria over victory won't be as meaningful. Sure, I guess a casual can be happy when the Eagles win the Super Bowl. I'm sure they are. But I don't think it's the same level of happiness a fan who lives and dies with the team on a day-to-day basis for years on end feels. The misery we feel are the dues we have to pay along the way for the joy we occasionally get to feel.

Even if we won the next game or two. Now I’m over it within the hour. Probably because I’ve seen two super bowls and I just know that my life has zero impact on the outcome of a game.
