Curious what you mean by this? Do you mean that it could be a ‘phantom’ thing. Or it was like the episode of the office where Michael grills his foot on a Forman grill 🤣. I will say last one I had…adrenaline, cortisol, endorphins, serotonin, dopamine and all the other chemicals your body releases during stuff like this are pretty easy to get out of whack. The brain fires all sorts of ways to try and normalize. I felt just a little off for a while after my last one. Brushed off our medic and let my ‘ego’ take over. The next day when I woke up and stumbled out of the tent, as soon as the sun hit me everything fully kicked in. The other 2 of my 3 big ones hit or affected me completely different. No 2 TBIs are the same.

Given everything around the NFL and this particular protocol, it would beyond stupid to use that as a way to soft bench him when they have a built in excuse already with his back.

He keeps this up and he’s getting a massive pay day. I don’t view him as a scheme versatile CB though. Hes a good fit for what we do here though.

Seems like concussion symptoms are more subjective than a back injury and could be easier for "fake". But I don't know how much the NFL scrutinizes player injuries and how teams manipulate them. They've proven over and over again that they don't REALLY care about player safety.

There are a bunch of individual mistakes you can point to and say "If this doesn’t happen they win” (which is annoying) but blowing that lead was almost impossible. It took some world class bad coaching to happen. That thing was a wrap and the story was going to be how the team was so deep it could overcome injuries and mistakes blah blah…Nick really gave that game away.Even at 24-23 I don’t think Hurts was getting into FG range the way he was playing in the second half

However, with the emphasis on head injuries, concussions, law suits, CTE and everything. I’d like to think that this organization has more dignity and respect for that. I just don’t think a concussion is a phantom injury they’d use. Imagine if that came out, it would be worse than the gruden scandal. Though, maybe Lurie is that poor now and is like f it…if it comes out and I’m forced to sell I get my money. 🤣

It's just the fallout if it ever came out that they intentionally were manipulating the concussion protocol would be so extreme it's not even worth it just to protect a players ego.

You got entire staffs losing medical licenses. Extensive black balling. Shame to family names. Essentially the NFL equivalent of of the death penalty for the franchise.

Of course, if he wasn't playing so awful would he/they be in such a hurry to disclose it - likely not.
October 6Oct 6 Since the 2nd half of the Bears game, this team is 0/17 on 3rd downs. They haven't converted a 3rd down in 1.5 games.
October 6Oct 6 Love this quote from Sirianni"It’s a good, healthy sample size right now, but I don't think we really know our identity of what we want to be or where we're going”Every year we don't have an identity. You go through all of camp and 4 games and you have no idea what your identity as an offense is, how has it been 4 years of this and this idiot still parrots "TOUGH. DETAILED. TOGETHER". No one is together on what this offense is supposed to be

I literally stopped watching it was so unfair. I have said at times that you can’t beat twelve men on the field. Seemed like the Texans had to beat 18 of them. 11 cowpads and all seven refs. Some of those called fouls were phantom. It was disgusting and I was serious about my Kalshi comment. It wasn’t in jest.

Last year it’s estimated $30b was wagered in sports betting on the NFL alone. I can’t think of a single other business of that scale being left up to chance.Been saying it since I lived in Vegas and watched line shifts and trends. The deeper you look the weirder it gets. Tin foil hat weird. Then 2 weeks ago, you have sunshine openly admitting he decided to take a knee at the 1 yard line in a not run the clock out scenario so he could help out his teammates fantasy owners? Weird world we live in. Obviously things aren’t WWE scripted but there’s too much money involved to not rationally account for human fallibility.
