I could see Shipley going on IR if Hurts’ timeline is still murky.

The next Eagles QB? Seems he will be out of reach with so many horrible teams.

How Drew Mestemaker became the hottest name in the 2027 NFL Draft

Should have never brought his name up on the blog so he could have stayed off of team's radar.

Basically what Howie is saying to Dalton after signing Milton

Eagles in full on legal preservation mode.

Jalen Hurts might be a part owner along with Julian when this is all said and done if this ends up ending his career.

No. This is not uncommon, and there is probably a bunch of players with the same issue, it is a contact sport.

Such is the injury bug, be interesting to see how the team manage players coming off of IR, with getting some back to the PS and the roster continuing to be balanced. Howie's nirvana

"I love Tanner,” said Zack Baun, creating a triangle. "I love that guy so much. I told someone that it’s just seeming like he’s got some sort of Tom Brady career arc to him, because he’s totally capable, he’s tall, he knows where to go with the ball, he gets it out on time and he’s got a lot of confidence in these receivers.”

Zack "Tanner Brady" Baun

Wait a sec…. Did he f up heart hands and the reporter documented it?

I would MUCH rather take my chances with Milton than Dalton

So how well does McKee have to play or else the fanbase calls for Payton?

I’ve been calling for Payton to ever since McKee was named the starter.

But then again, I’m a bit more progressive and ahead of the curve

Someone will know better than me but if the clot already moved, wouldn't they want to start blood thinners asap? I would think the long term timeline might be murky but I would guess in the short term he's out at least a few weeks.

Just thought I'd share a little bit of my latest journey in life. I'm an alcoholic. Have been for the past 20+ years, and probably my whole life if I think about it.

That said, I'm currently sitting in a shuttle van heading to an AA meeting in Springfield, IL. I've been in a treatment facility since 28 August.

After 8 years, 2 months, and 4 days of sobriety, I relapsed earlier this summer. And when I say relapsed, I mean relapsed HARD. Almost a week-long bender, time I can barely remember that I'll never get back.

I've learned a lot about myself over the past 53 days, and I'm rejuvenated and eager to resume my recovery.

I'm not sure why I felt the need to share this. I guess I just want to pat myself on the back, figuratively. But I also want to say if anyone here is struggling with substance abuse, or just struggling with life in general, there's always hope. Don't give up.

Also, I'm on here quite often, so if any of you ever feel like chatting about addiction--or really anything at all--don't hesitate to hit me up.

That's all--GO BIRDS

Thanks for sharing. Good luck on your new beginning!

I thought we should have signed him after Dallas released him at the end of camp. Talent is there for sure. Much more useful than Dalton.

Wonder if the Eagles IR qb1 at some point. Rap said that he'll be out indefinitely. Might as well IR him and reevaluate him in 4 weeks. We desperately need some RB depth

Id be slightly excited about Blue if we get some of the fancy RB passes we were seeing in pre-season back.

I’ll let you know after his first pass attempt.

Keep up the fight my friend, you're worth it!

Roster decisions will be very interesting.

  • We need to make room for Milton, and then potentially the guys coming off IR. I think Shipley is clearly going to IR, so let's say Milton takes that spot.

  • If they activate Dickerson, I guess they could cut Majors, but they only have 8 OL in that scenario on the 53 (Mailata, Dickerson, Kendall, Steen, Bell, Fred, Lampkin, Morris). That seems light with guys banged up (LD, Kendall, Steen and Fred all on the injury report). Maybe someone like Hollywood is a surprise cut? Or is Michael Carter going to IR?

  • If they activate one of the TEs, then I'm guessing Jenkins is released.

  • Other IR Candidates - Hurts, Hunt

Milton is 6'5", 236 pounds. Feels like he can at least be the brotherly shove QB for now.

I hope Milton got his Cowboy cooties vaccination. We rarely have luck with players from there.

Scandrick

Murray

Boniol

Austin

All brought Cowboy cooties!

I was surprised when they went with Howell over him. Was he bas this preseason? Bad reports out of camp?

Y'all realize that McKee has to play behind that OL, with Pierce and Steele as his RBs?

Like temper expectations.

If he remains upright for 60 minutes, that's a moral victory.

I mean it takes the guy moving mountains to get 10 yards on offense, you think he can speak intelligently on a superficial blood clot?
