You see that in some rare occasions.Don't need a coach trying to expound on complex medical issues. One of the things I miss about the Andy Reid days is they would have Rick Burkholder speak semi-regularly about injuries and recovery.

THat’s what billion dollar organizations have people on staff to do…like the prepared statement. It’s almost like they spend a ridiculous amount of money on experts for a reason. Siri is there to coach…to whatever level he’s capable of.Yes they have people on the staff brief the HC prior to his PC on a controversy that has become a national story. That is how billion dollar organizations work.

I have no doubt Bob Lange prepped Nick to not answer anything and refer to the team statement. I do think there is a bit of preservation mode going on to not make anything worse by saying something they shouldn't.Preservation mode implies they’re in CYA mode to me. Sidestepping or deferring while experts do their thing isn’t that…IMHO.

I would guess the organization as a whole is in a bit of a CYA mode though at the same time.
Friday at 05:15 PM1 day Honestly, I'm ready for a let down game. I've said this before, I like Tanner a lot because he does the three things I want from a QB in terms of raw skills:Process the fieldThrow on timeThrow with anticipationHowever, I think him getting nearly no reps as a backup and thus having almost no reps on a new offense just isn't going to cut it. I think if his performance is excellent, it's actually extremely impressive, especially if it turns out to be tape resilient (Meaning it survives being acquired on film). But I would honestly be shocked if his performance is good with anything less than 2 games, especially with our running game being pretty trash.

Obviously regarding a medical situation coaches always defer to medical staff.

Its going to need to go from nothing to 2-3 yards first. Barkley wont get you 2-3 with his style, but guys like Pierce and Steele will.

The medical staff and everyone involved isn’t expected to be as well. I’m sure there’s things that could have def done better. I took RTK’s interpretation of it and wording as the organization is covering up a massive mistake they made and the sky is falling behind the scenes. When, is there a chance that’s true? I guess…but that’s a bold take about a statement/response a dude that’s in a middle management role in the grand scheme of things for the Eagles made.

Offense is basically PS people. Ever see that video of Jordan trucking people playing rugby? We'll see what happens but that's where my expectations are.

Not because Im sure theyre going to win, but because I think its at least going to be close and youre gonna get great odds for a fairly possible upset.

Backward hat wearing, 6'6" QB who can process a defense quickly and get the ball out to his playmakers.Greg Cosell was talking about this in a video yesterday. Processing is a skill that's hard to learn (paraphrasing) if you don't have it. Hurts doesn't and McKee does. On the other side I'll add McKee has looked really bad the last few times we have seen him behind bad OL which negates that skill a bit. He needs to chill out which is easy for me to say without 300 pound guys running towards me, but that's the job. I'm hoping he shreds them but again....PS RB and a few PS OL starters.
Friday at 05:34 PM1 day Barkley is closing in on 30. I’d happily ship him off if he comes back healthy enough to entice a contender (Denver? Minnesota?) to trade a premium pick for him.
