While I agree with you. I don’t think it’s a no way situation. Go look at the Chiefs, they traded away McDuffie and he was a really talented corner. I said this before, you might see guys you don’t expect the Eagles to trade that actually get traded.

I think it’d be foolish and we don’t have mahomes /reid either but I wouldn’t rule it out if somebody completely overpays you for him.

I think it's pretty common that coach is saddled with a QB on a decent contract when they take a job in the NFL. It's part of the deal, they're freaking coaches. It's their job to get the most out of the players.

I think it's pretty commonly considered that for a HC, QB choice considered probably the most important roster decision of their careers. There's a reason both Doug and Andy took QBs very, very high. Not every QB fits every system well, that's just not how it works.

We haven't had a talented secondary in so long. 1 bad season and people want to trade away a player that helped us dominate in the SB

He didn't take a shot at Hurts. He took a shot at the idiot he QT'd that is acting like this offense paled in comparison to the offense under Hurts today. It didn't. It was very similar just a little bit worse.

The agenda is the other direction. Hurts truthers are out here dunking on McKee acting like if Hurts were playing today the Eagles would've scored 40 points. The offense sucks with either QB it's just slightly better with Hurts. And it should not be only slightly better with a QB making that kinda money was his point. And it's a right one to make.

The irony is, you could say both QBs performing in a similar manner suggests the scheme is the problem as it limits what a QB can do. And that is not a dig at Hurts; all depends on the framing

Trust me, I don’t want to trade him away. I’d rather keep him. But I can understand it if the Eagles financially believe that getting overpaid in draft capital is a better pathway they want to take than spending a lot of money on dejean like what the chiefs did with mcduffie. Again, I think it would be foolish. But I wouldn’t be totally shocked by it.

Behind this OL McKee won't even make the season. It's gonna be the tank commander Payton before you know it. Team has no answers for anything. I think they packed it in after that heartbreaker last week. Young team and they have a leadership gap here. Can tell by the dumb penalties and mistakes. This was the week to know what you were made of. And get that backup QB boost at home. Against a team who was ready to give it to you. Didn't happen.

We’ve run a broken offense to some degree for FOUR SEASONS. Our only saving grace were the run schemes from the OL coach we scapegoated this offseason (and the OL + Saquon).

Thanks for what should’ve been 2 SBs, Nick. Now kindly GTFO

Reminder: 2023 offense was 7th in points in the whole league, the problems were because Hurts also was 3rd in the league in INTs (15).

People take the bait every single time. I kinda respect his commitment to it, if people were that easily baited I don't know if I could resist either.

Outside of the Bears game, Hurts has had this team in position to beat both the Rams and the Jagaurs and the team found ways to lose.

Eagles were never in a position win this game today. Never at any point did they hold a lead or even a tie after the Panthers scored their first points (3).

He is having a bad year but I'm only trading Cooper for a haul and only if they have a deal with Riq in place to stay. They will already need CB2 and at least one safety. Losing one of the better slots in the league as well isn't ideal.

Tbh it’s hard to make the comparison right now. Because Carolina is not a good defense. Jacksonville is awesome against the run. They make you a one dimensional team. Before today, they hadn’t allowed a runner to exceed 40 yards rushing. And the Rams well been up and down gave up points to Buffalo, is a better defense than Carolina.

The bigger issues coming out of this game is the scheme still feels like it’s all over the place. There’s no rhythm and there’s no logic to what they’re doing and adjustments to what they are seeing. Their offensive line is still a problem. Plus they have non-existent running game that’s partially them just not sticking with the run

If you listened to the broadcast they told you about how for McKee, being UC that much is very new. You can't give a backup who hasn't taken consistent starter reps ever exactly one game on a short practice week to make that assessment. I do think they need to stop being under center so much though, scheme or not.

DeJean? Get real.

If you can fetch a 3rd for Dejean… I’m certainly considering it

Run game

All bigger issues than QB.

Special teams deserved at best a D. Their coverage units stink, bad punt by Mann and a blocked punt

Can you tell me who in the third you're getting that's better than Coop?

Sorry but Eagle fans overrate him. Especially if the plan is to leave him at nickel

You need to go calm down and reevaluate that later.

Things are getting unnoticed. Cooper, Davis, Carter, Baun are not even close to their believed statuses here. I think Q is still playing well. Defense is toast. Regardless of how bad the offense is. They can't win you a game. It was proven already twice in 3 weeks. I like turnovers in a defense that changes games. Where are the sacks at? There's nothing here..

The pass protection issues today were more not picking up free rushers than getting beat 1-on-1.

It’s hard to evaluate this OL with Kuper as OL coach; I think he might be one and done

Johnny Mundt either doesn’t know the playbook or he’s just an awful player. He needs to go.

McKee was okay today. It’s too bad an awful snap from Majors killed the offense just when the team had momentum. Not sure why Kendall was dressed but didn’t start (Kuper?)

The Eagles need a run game. Pearce tried but he’s marginal. There have to be better RBs on the street than Steele and Blue (Howie?)
