2024 Super Bowl win was amazing, and it was only 8 years after our 1st Super Bowl win with a mostly different roster and mostly new coaches. Running it back didn't work. It is what it is.

Whatever happens this season, there will be retooling the roster (O line, Edge, draft a QB to replace Hurts, TE overhaul, etc.) to retool around the core guys that will stay. If they do it right, they will be in position to compete again and it won't take long. They may even make the playoffs this year with how bad the NFCE is, if they improve things. But it doesn't take long in the NFL to turn things around. After the 2023 collapse they made some acquisitions and hired Fangio and they won a SB.

Lurie and Howie are aggressive and not afraid to make changes. Whether Head Coach, QB, anyone. They want to win. I think they really thought this time they were going to repeat and after last year, tried changing schemes but Mannion was all that was left. Depending on how the rest of this season goes, we may have an all new coaching staff next year again, with Hurts having 1 more year before he's traded or cut while a rookie prepares to take over.

Unfortunately, this is one of those seasons the Chiefs are probably gonna win the SB. I don't want to see them win another thing. I hope the Bills make it from the AFC.

In most seasons (or in most other divisions) this season would be a wash but 8, maybe even 7 games could be enough to make the playoffs and win the nfc east. I don’t care how bad we look, the goal should always be to win.

The offense is abysmal, there’s no other way around it.

Simple change is to get rid of Mannion. It’s just not working. Perhaps one day this guy has success as a coach/play caller but it sure as hell isn’t happening this season.

I’d just turn the whole offense over to Sirianni for the remainder of the season. It would be nearly impossible to be any worse. Give him the option to call plays or delegate it. Who cares. But Mannion just needs to go and there needs to be a new leader on offense.

Predictable

Bagget or whatever but we just got wrecked by the 3rd string so that is an invalid argument and actually keenim played part of that game also

We will see how Gannon and the defense do tonight.

They weren't very good until the past 2 weeks when they played TB with Daniels, a backup, and Chicago with Baegent, also a backup.

Hope I'm wrong but I fully expect Dak to carve up Gannons defense tonight.

You come in with a horrible take calling him a bust of a first round pick and it's on me for saying that's a bad take? Yes saying he doesn't look like a first round pick is calling him a bust.

Stop posting bad takes if you don't want people to disagree. And when all you have is ad hominem as a response it shows your position is weak. He blocks, he gets open, he is behind Wicks and Smith on a horrible offense. He is fine so far.

I didn't call him a bust. I said right now he doesn't remotely look like a 1st round pick. Again, you're insufferable by being intentionally dishonest about what I said. And you just go around looking to argue with people about crap constantly. Logging off would do you some good. He is not "fine" he's not contributing at all. Cooper has found ways to impact games and Lemon does nothing.

Did I read people suggesting we trade DeJean? Ha!

If they fire Mannion, I'm not giving the offensive play calling to anymore Honkies.

Let Moorehead get a crack at it.

I like the Point out, I didn’t say I would trade him. I said I could understand it if they did kind of like the Chiefs did with McDuffie. If somebody’s willing to overpay you for him, and you don’t wanna spend the money and get a haul then I could understand it.

All for it!

Let me call him a first round bust by saying he doesn't look like a first round pick but I'm not sayinghe is a bust. I'm not looking to argue but it's a bad take. He made a key block in the first game. He saved a TD week 2. He made a good catch that got them a first even though he got smacked last week. He was open quite often. If he isn't thrown the ball that isn't on him but he plays hard so far and does the small stuff. If he had tons of drops like JR then fine but the entire offense looks like crap and I don't get why some of you like tossing negativity in random directions. The ignore button is an option. I'm not going anywhere.

Good thing we have an offensive minded HC who can fix these problems. After all, he doesn’t have hurts, who many said he was handcuffed to so he couldn’t run his style of offense.. now he has a pocket passer, he should be able fix it no problem

Worse offense:

Chargers

Eagles

Dolphins

Bucs

Seeing the Chargers, and more specifically Jim Harbaugh, at 0-6 is just weird. Dont think ive seen a Jim Harbaugh coached team look this bad. He usually wins.

I think the constant switching of OC's has lead to the offense's downfall. It's honestly not very wise to change things up each year and expect success. At this point, the FO has to just trust the hire and let a healthy team get a full grasp of this offense. Also, it's still too premature to judge if Mannion is really an issue, because the offense has been dealing with SO many injuries since week 3.

There's nothing wrong with hoping we can get healthy in time to go on a run and win a terrible division. If not, try again next year, but blowing it all up because everything that could go wrong, did, just feels like the dumb move.

Must be something obscure because he’s really not close to anything meaningful

You have extremely low standards then. And this exactly what I mentioned in my post about lowering the bar. This is a dude the Eagles traded up for and your idea of looking good is "He made a key block." 😂

It like was like 50 yards or receptions away or something. I missed it

Sirianni will likely take the fall and get fired in the offseason. But Howie and Lurie need to be very careful with how they handle this

As I warned all of you before this season, this is no longer a talented team. This is a talented defense and a hideous offense with a net "meh” on the talent situation.

Finding a premier HC candidate who is willing to be completely subservient to the Howie power structure and willing to work with the offensive personnel…..will not be easy.

They won’t have a top 3 pick with a big time qb selection. They don’t have a qb coaches want to work with.

They will have to look at the Doug Pederson and Nick Sirianni like candidates on the interview circuit. And Howie will have to go back to assembling teams so overwhelmingly talented that any coach and any qb can hop on for a championship ride. Jihaad Campbell, Andrew Mukuba, Makai Lemon, and Eli Stowers aren’t going to cut it.

As things are today, the Eagles would pick #8 overall in the 2027 draft with two first and two second round picks in the 2028 draft. Any new HC coming to the eagles would be able to acquire the QB of his choice. If anything, I think the problem is that there is no clear hierarchy for the QBs. It’s a lot of good but flawed prospects m.

Yes, a new HC will have to deal with Howie and Lurie. Oh, the horrors of having to work for the best GM and owner in the entire NFL!
