I think the constant switching of OC's has lead to the offense's downfall. It's honestly not very wise to change things up each year and expect success. At this point, the FO has to just trust the hire and let a healthy team get a full grasp of this offense. Also, it's still too premature to judge if Mannion is really an issue, because the offense has been dealing with SO many injuries since week 3.

There's nothing wrong with hoping we can get healthy in time to go on a run and win a terrible division. If not, try again next year, but blowing it all up because everything that could go wrong, did, just feels like the dumb move.

The Eagles currently have one of the worst offenses… ever… through 6 games. It’s in no way, shape, or form too premature to judge Mannion. He’s clearly an issue.

The offense looked the same with a different QB, probably a tad worse.

Mannion needs to go. This isn’t working. He’s young. He’ll have a million other opportunities.

Let me call him a first round bust by saying he doesn't look like a first round pick. I'm not looking to argue but it's a bad take. He made a key block in the first game. He saved a TD week 2. He made a good catch that got them a first even though he got smacked last week. He was open quite often. If he isn't thrown the ball that isn't on him but he plays hard so far and does the small stuff. If he had tons of drops like JR then fine but the entire offense looks like crap and I don't get why some of you like tossing negativity in random directions. The ignore button is an option. I'm not going anywhere.

That's not really calling him a bust though. There's a difference in saying a player is a bust and saying they don't look like a first-round talent/pick. Lemon right now doesn't look like a first-round pick, but it's not all on him. For one, he's been very misused and this team is too banged up.

As things are today, the Eagles would pick #8 overall in the 2027 draft with two first and two second round picks in the 2028 draft. Any new HC coming to the eagles would be able to acquire the QB of his choice. If anything, I think the problem is that there is no clear hierarchy for the QBs. It’s a lot of good but flawed prospects m.

Yes, a new HC will have to deal with Howie and Lurie. Oh, the horrors of having to work for the best GM and owner in the entire NFL!

You are well aware that there are unique challenges for a head coach working underneath Howie and Lurie.

I like Howie but I dont know if hes the best GM in the league. He has seasons were everything he touches turns to gold. Then he has seasons where everything turns to $h!t.

I don’t know about that. There’s a lot of bad teams and the Rams are underachieving worse than us

Sirianni will likely take the fall and get fired in the offseason. But Howie and Lurie need to be very careful with how they handle this

As I warned all of you before this season, this is no longer a talented team. This is a talented defense and a hideous offense with a net "meh” on the talent situation.

Finding a premier HC candidate who is willing to be completely subservient to the Howie power structure and willing to work with the offensive personnel…..will not be easy.

They won’t have a top 3 pick with a big time qb selection. They don’t have a qb coaches want to work with.

They will have to look at the Doug Pederson and Nick Sirianni like candidates on the interview circuit. And Howie will have to go back to assembling teams so overwhelmingly talented that any coach and any qb can hop on for a championship ride. Jihaad Campbell, Andrew Mukuba, Makai Lemon, and Eli Stowers aren’t going to cut it.

A "talented" 24th ranked defense in the NFL, after week 6. Maybe that's where the premise is wrong. Middle of the pack or worse is more accurate. Not just the offense stinks. Everything is stinking.

we need bounty bowl III next week

And a number of other things. I'm old enough to remember the last few weeks when the Hurts bashing revolved around Wicks and Lemon being constantly open on big downs. Again, random negativity being tossed around

I believe they haven’t attempted one drop back pass from under center all season. Just runs and play actions. Hence why teams are just teeing off with blitzes from plays under center. Just madness.

I’m fairness chargers probably the laughing stock as they went all in on McDaniels and have Herbert healthy and they are 0-6. But we are close

I actually don’t think they are unique in the slightest.

What, do you think the other billionaire owners and cut throat career driven GMs don’t have their own agendas and work complications?

It is too early. I could see if the players on offense were completely healthy through 6 games, but they haven't been. Duh, of course the offense still looks bad and even worse, because backups don't generally come in and make all your problems go away 😂

Mannion isn't good and Nick is a glorified cheerleader whose schtick has grown old. It's time to clean house and bring in some new coaches with fresh ideas that actually use players to their strengths. I'd love to have Declan Doyle from Baltimore.

Yup. I posted the tweet earlier. This is why when people are like sirianni dealing with all these injuries and it’s not his offense as it’s mannions. That may be true. But part of the story is if other people around the league noticed that and people on the Internet notice that, then a head coach has to go to your OC who is a rookie OC in experience and play calling and tell him. Be like we need to switch this up because this is what’s happening. clearly either he’s not doing it or he doesn’t know how to get through to his OC to make it happen

There’s a bunch of problems with this team. Jalen hurts has his own flaws, even though he didn’t play today. The offensive line is not very good. Injuries are mounting. However, you can tell the coaching is also not good. Like they have poor game management, they have a lot of penalties, they’re very predictable along with all the other flaws they have. Can see whatever we want, part of the reason the Eagles were able to make up for some of their shortcomings previous seasons was because they were immensely talented. At this point with the injuries and just the roster in general, they don’t have that type of talent anymore to make up for these things.

This is why I’ve said I think you’re gonna wind up seeing a new coach and a new quarterback by 2028.

Yeah, but it's only natural that your defense suffers when they have to constantly carry the load. It's the same thing that happened in 2023 when the offense carried a terrible defense. They ended up snapping and we had the supernatural funk. You're going to end up seeing defensive play continue to drop in the second half of games, and players will eventually start dropping like flies due to too many snaps.

The offense has been terrible with all the starters in. They scored 7 points vs the Bears. Saquon, Davonta, Lane, and Hurts all played on that game.

It’s not working. Give Sirianni all the tools to see if he’s worth bringing back in 2027.

How is saying he doesn't look like a first round pick not saying he looks like a first round bust of a pick? I have no idea what he will become but like you said he isn't being used well and it's been 6 games. Again, the last few weeks Hurts has been bashed for not seeing he was open on key downs. Not fair toward the kid. So many issues offensively before we can evaluate him.

You bring up a great point about his use though. Coaching is horrible.

Way to point to one game for the offense being terrible. Especially when it was still early in the season and it's a new offense, lol

This goes back to what I pointed out a couple weeks back. Their defense hasn’t really been the problem up until the fourth quarter. They become a problem in the fourth quarter because they’re gassed and frankly they have a fourth-quarter defensive problem. If you just go look at the stats, it tells you this. They’ve given up 55 points of their 137 in the 4th quarter. That’s 40% of the points on the season (took out last week’s jags FG as it wasn’t on them). Furthermore, they’ve given up the most yards of any quarter in the 4th.

The defense has given up 79 points in quarters 1-3. The defense really isn’t a problem up until the fourth quarter. When they’re gassed and they just can’t make a play to get themselves off the field at a critical time. Some goes into the offense, not doing anything for long stretches of the game and wearing them out. And also the defense just can’t make timely plays when they need to likely due to being gassed

Can't stand that guy and he's muted so no. Poon made the best point yet that he isn't being used well either.

His team scored a lot of points today!
