The thing about that meme is that it's exactly how it works.

When Republicans (especially under Trump) control the WH and the House, they spend at record levels and fully embrace socialism.  But with Biden at the helm and a Rep House, the deficit will decline and they'll pass very little in the way of legislation.  It's not a 'probably' situation, it's a guarantee.

Or you can pretend that voting for the guy who wants the feds to build 10 Communist ghost cities is all about smaller government.

Yes totally, youve convinced me to vote for Biden you big brain you.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Oh, I know you're not going to vote for Biden.  Like I already said, you hate freedom.  But you should know that a vote for Trump is 100% guaranteed to be a vote for more federal spending/deeper debt/bigger government.

Yep. They only care about spending when it's a Dem President. If Trump wins, they will spend like drunken sailors out on extended weekend liberty. Just like they have done before.

Can't believe this dude is running again. Both parties should be embarrassed this is the BS they put out and as the public we need to demand better candidates.

There's this thing called a primary where you get to demand whoever you want. The problem is, the people usually voting in them are stupid. Like really stupid. So they end up demanding bad candidates because they are incapable of differentiating the good ones from bad ones. Hell, if the past few years are any indication, most of them are wholly incapable of differentiating basic fact from fiction.

Trump sent us $5T farther into debt before Covid even hit and then he sent us a full $8T into debt by the end of his term.  He doesn't want to cut entitlements and all of his proposals thus far into his campaign are massive, big government socialist proposals.  Where exactly are you seeing him cutting back on anything?

You're taking a specific situation under Trump and trying to say as a principle that everyone should just vote for a Democrat as POTUS because it always works out the way it did in under Trump.  Thats insane, and it doesnt work like that.

Guys, there's nothing to argue about here. If you truly care about reducing spending and winding back the debt, there's only one adult in the room you should vote for....

"As you know, the last eight years, [the federal government] borrowed more than it did in the whole history of our country,” Trump said. "So they borrowed more than $10 trillion, right? And yet we picked up $5.2 trillion just in the stock market. Possibly picked up the whole thing in terms of the first nine months, in terms of value.”

That's because the specific situation is exactly the same this time around.  Trump will definitely be the Republican nominee.  Unless you've somehow convinced yourself that someone else has a chance.  If so, I've got bad news for you.

I mean I get why but this is crazy.  He's not going to get 80 million votes this time, he's just not.  Holding out hope that they throw the other guy out of the running.

The election is a long way out, by the time it gets close Biden will have the Obamas and all kinds of surrogates rallying people to vote, and 10s of millions will vote for him just to keep Trump out.

You said it, gannan, you said it all ....

I just got a text from Joe Biden personally telling me that he's running in '24 to finish the job.  So, I guess you could say things are looking up for me.

Weird that this is just accepted as normal.

Indeed, this is what we need to accept as normal instead:

Or vote 3rd party if it's between Biden and Trump
