You send Kushner in the Mideast to put together a peace agreement, a very significant one.  He should be credited for that.

Why?

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

I didn't say we should give them money, I said we need to recognize their government in an overall effort to avoid war... if possible. I would prefer the Biden administration to be MORE hawkish than it is. However, the alternative is the republican party which is full of frightened weak willed appeasers who kowtow to our enemies and admire despots and dictators.

I disagree that we should recognize the government.  There is a robust movement in that country to overthrow that regime.  We should be supporting that movement overtly.  I credit the Trump administration for taking out Soleimeini.  It saved countless lives.

There have been three Arab-Israeli peace agreements - the Camp David Accords, the deal with Jordan and the Abraham Accords.  Carter and Clinton were rightfully credited with putting together these deals.   The Trump administration should be credited with its role in implementing the Abraham Accords - and Kushner was the point man for that.

If the Biden Administration could somehow negotiate a peace deal between Canada and Mexico, maybe they could one day be mentioned in the same breath as the Abraham Accords.

Agreed.  He helped negotiate a peace deal between countries that weren't at war, so he's definitely owed, at minimum, $2B in illegal kickbacks.

As I said before, if Kushner got that money while Trump was in office as a kickback, it is criminal and he should be locked up.  If there was a deal after he left office, it smells to high heaven.  But you could say that about any number of politicians who left office - including the Clintons, George Schultz, Barack Obama, Joe Biden to name a few.  Biden in particular.

Gimme a break. I was on a call when I wrote that.

I just really love it when someone is trying to make a fool out of another person and ends up being the fool, phone call or not.

Exactly.  It was 6 months after he left office. I believe the statute of limitations on illegal quid pro quos is 3 months, so there's really nothing the legal system could do about it even if they wanted to.

Of course we shouldn't blindly trust them.   And we didn't.  The Obama deal followed the Reagan model, "trust but verify".  We had inspectors in.  They never found evidence that Iran's program was accelerating.  Was it a perfect deal?  Of course not, nothing ever is, but the absolute last thing that should've been done was tear the deal up.  It was the height of irresponsibility and it was 100% based on emotions and the lies told by the right wing media.  If he didn't like it, he should've renegotiated a better deal (which of course is what he promised to do, but he broke that promise just like all the others).  Because now we're left with literally trusting the Iranian Government with no way to verify.

You cant be this naive.

And hey like you said, if it was so great then surely Biden and Iran can come to a quick agreement to re-establish that win/win arrangement.

I wonder why he hasn't done that yet....

How does the 40 Billion affect you personally?

This might be the most libertarian thing youve ever posted.

No big deal, I have but one life to give for Ukraine.  What else can I do for Daddy Government???  Take my whole paycheck please!

Yes, Sling Blade, we literally have CIA personnel in embassies all over the world.

As has been explained to you many times over, "boots on the ground" is entirely different than securing our own embassy. I know that you'll never not be a toothless backwoods rube, because of where you were born and raised, but repeating the same phrase over and over while not knowing what it means, is exactly what we mean when we call you a trumpbot.

Oh ok, we probably have the exact same amount of CIA resources in Ukraine that we do in, say, Uzbekistan or Switzerland.  No big deal.

What about Special Forces, though?

And I know exactly what "boots on the ground" means which is exactly why youre dead F'ing wrong, as always.   We have boots on the ground and not just to defend the Embassy you useful idiot.

Mike low-key admitting he would've been in favor of letting Hitler roll over all of Europe and Hirohito roll over Asia during WW2. Unamerican commie coward confirmed. Hate to see it.

Oh so we joined WWII because of Hitler?  Are you sure?

Lets keep sending billions and billions to Ukraine for a perpetual proxy war, what could possibly go wrong?

Peak libertarianism in here recently.

Do you even read the posts you quote?  Because it's next to impossible re-establish a deal that we've torn it up once for absolutely no reason.  Like I said before, Biden's a total bad ass so anything's possible, but either way Trump set the Iranian nuclear program ahead by leaps and bounds.

How would you know, lil' fella? You seem to have no relationship with the truth.

Clearly your relationship with the English language is tentative, at best.

My relationship is strong enough to know youre an old loon who probably has a home care nurse change your diaper.

Youre lost again old timer, go back to bed.

Why is that so hard?

And yes, I know, Trump delivered them nukes on a silver platter.  Of course they dont have them yet, so we'll just take your word for it

I also mentioned Hirohito for a reason numb nuts. Put the phone down and pick up a history book.

JFC you can’t be this effing stupid. 🤦‍♂️

You guys are the stupid ones if youre ignoring the leak that proved there are Special Forces and CIA all over Ukraine.

This embassy nonsense is getting as bad as the "illusion of access" bull ish.  Its embarrassing for you guys to be such bootlicking hacks.

Are they still allowed to have those in West Virginia?

What was the US doing before Pearl Harbor?   Being commie cowards??

Are you serious?  I just answered that question in the post you quoted.  Pro-tip: read the posts, then respond, not the other way around.
