He "willingly" returned the documents after 2+ years of negotiations through his lawyers (way more than Trump got), and didn't hand over everything the first time. He also lied about the timeline of who found them and when.

There are no good options. If he announced he was reversing course before the convention, I don't see any reason it would have to be a minority. It's voted on by the state delegates and there's next to no chance they'd go with Harris in that scenario. The Dems are stupid, but they're not that stupid. The delegates (even more than the general populace) would go with whoever gives them the best chance in November. Who that would be is an open question but at the moment it certainly doesn't look like a minority.

Biden took documents that he should not have had and kept them for 6 or 7 years stored in a ripped cardboard box sitting on his garage floor. Does anyone know what he did with those for the entire time he had them? I guess it's fine for me to go on a robbery spree as long as I cooperate if they start asking questions. If I'm in NY, California, etc. I'm not worried anyway because I'll just be let go afterwards but in most normal states it could be a problem for me, unless I cooperate.

Trump then tried to have the video tapes erased. Trump tried to have the video room flooded out. Trying to destroy evidence looks pretty bad. Now it comes out Trump had secret rooms that were not searched during the search warrant. Even after all this Trump may still be in possession of top secret materials that he has not returned.
