Looks like they are tied for 10th with the Chiefs to me.

Well I will have to go find one more team, BUT, the point stands they are not the 2nd highest scoring offense since week 8 like @jsb235 keeps parroting.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

I thought that was a list for top 10. I didn’t realize it was just random teams you picked.

The Chiefs have won every game and against some good teams since week 8 with the same PPG on offense. The Eagles offense is good enough to win. However, they are good enough to win despite Hurts. Bring in Wilson or even a QB that can manage the game with good throws and we sky rocket up that list. The running game will be fine with this Oline and we can throw our resources into defense and a new QB this offseason.

I started with the highest scoring teams the last 3 weeks and ran them removing defensive TD's since week 8.

What stands out, the Colts are scoring 32.5 offensive PPG since week 8, leading the league.

It does stand out. However, they did play the Jets, Texans, and Jaguars in that time.

JT also went off on the bills. Carrying the ball 32 times for 4 TDs and 185 yards.

That’s only 6 games. I’m not sure that’s sustainable. They seem like a middle of the pack team to me.

They also scored 41 against the Bills, and 31 in both of the losses to Tampa and Tennessee.

You are all wrong. He's in his third year with a new offensive systems and new offensive coordinator. He did this all while being basically a rookie. Hurts also has the second most rushing attempts amongst QB's while even missing a game due to injury and being pulled from a 4th Quarter blowout Lions game. Now, most importantly, Hurts used to be #2 on the Philadelphia Eagles, but at the start of the new football year with the new uniforms rule change, Carson Wentz changed to #2 and Hurts changed to #1. Therefore, Hurts is basically a top 3 QB.

The one good thing about today is that you were forced to contemplate how good the offense has been this year despite Hurts.

The Eagles are not top 10 in scoring. They are 12th, 13 points out of 10th place.

The Eagles are not top 10 in yards. 14th in yards per play, .1 ypp out of 8th place.

If you combine those two stats, they are top 10. Sorry to disappoint you.

This is my favorite @eagle45 and @Godfather.  They rank 12th in one category and 14th in the other, so if you combine them they are top 10 :roll::roll:

I always take the lowest numbers to equal the better number. You failed at the maths!

Yup, they weren't top 10. They were 11th. Or in your world, 25th. Because garbage time stats don't count, and something, something, qbr rating.

@downundermike

I'm no math expert but correct me if I'm wrong. If you add the 2 categories then divide by 2 it comes out to 13. So according to the humper 13 is the new 10

You see, you take the average of the two, which is 13.  You add 6 because of his weak ass arm, that’s 19.  You take away 10 because of his Swag, thats 9.  Then you add 1, just in case he shiiiits himself again.  That gives you 10.

Duh. Don’t be a hater.

They were 11th by his own math. Until he had to change the math. Because, you know, he didn't realize he was scoring on his own goal.

We both got 13 but we're wrong because the humper said so

Any response to your 29PPG ( 2nd )  actually not being correct, and they are tied for 10th and not second in offensive PPG.

They didn't score, they don't count.  And you keep saying 29.7 PPG, 2nd since week 8.  Let me tell you how false that is.

Taking away defensive scores, Eagles actually average 24.8 offensive PPG in Hurts starts since week 8. In that same time frame

Colts, 32.5 offensive PPG

Chargers 28 offensive PPG

Bucs 27.8 offensive PPG

Bills 26.7 offensive PPG

Rams 26.5 offensive PPG

Bengals 26.3 offensive PPG

49ers 26.3 offensive PPG

Vikings 26.1 offensive PPG

New England 25 offensive PPG

Chiefs 24.8 offensive PPG

I mean, I could keep going, but this is embarrassing for you.

@jsb235 edited to add some more teams. Eagles are not even top 10 in offensive PPG since week 8.

I will admit that it's nice to see all the Hurts Haters discussing how the team has an offense in the top half of the league, and debating exactly where in the top half it ranks.

Prior to the season these were the geniuses who were oozing confidence that we would be at the bottom of the league. So it's nice to see they have shaken off that loss and are back in the ring, swinging wildly.

It's nice to see Hurts suck and his arm being the reason he'll eventually get pushed out of Philly. History repeats itself. Tua pushed the scrub out of Bama

Look at you totally changing the discussion now that you have been wrecked at every turn.  The only reason the offense ranks where it does, is because we have a top 5 offensive line, and we can run the ball no matter who is under center.  And that offense has improved the more they take the ball out of Hurts hands and let the line and backs do what they do.  All the success is in spite of Hurts, not because of him.

And now Minshew is more than likely starting again, and will prove again that we can run the ball without a RB masquerading as a QB.

Do you have time to give him a lesson in grade school mathematics?

So my big mistake was the offense being 11th instead of 10th? That's your victory lap? Seems pretty weak to me, but I guess when you are desperate for a win...

You are continuing the "we ran the ball against the Jets with Minshew, so we can run it against anybody" line. Well, the Jets are a pretty bad defense, whereas Hurts has proven he can lead an offense that can rack up yards against anybody. Also, I never thought I would see the Hurts Haters turn into "Look at what a great offense Howie can build. It's so good even Jalen Hurts can lead a top offense" Truthers.

They are 12th in one category, and 14th in another, still, you somehow think that they are 11th, 10th or whatever the hell you think.

Basic math.

14 + 12 / 2 = 13

Just now, 4for4EaglesNest said:

Dude. Hurts crap arm is the reason for the turnaround.  Because if it wasn’t for his arm, then Sirianni wouldn’t have changed the offense to run heavy and it wouldn’t have rose all the way up to 13 or 15 or whatever it is.

Don’t be a hater.

My bad. That logic makes a ton of sense. Idk why I didn't realize that before. Don't forget 13 is the new 10

Here's a math lesson. The Jets are 29th against the run and 27th against the pass, and are the 31st ranked defense in the league. Or in TATE math, 28th. Because that's how numbers work.

But they are also equal to the Saints, Bucs, Broncos, Chargers...because something, something, qbr rating.
