It’s common in royal families from inbreeding.  Y’all should stop having sex with your cousins.

I'd really like to check out the Topher Grace edit:

he cut the first three movies down to 85 minutes and it was apparently pretty good. but he won't release it.

episode one is cut down to literally just the light saber battle and Obi-wan getting stuck with Anakin. from what I've read basically all the podracing, politics, and clone storyline was cut to focus just on Anakin's journey from kid to sith lord

That's madness.  4-6 are fantastic.  Even if there are too many Muppets in 6.

1-3 are such utter dog sheet that they barely even qualify as movies.  Lucas had a number of world class actors in there and I still could've made more believable Star Wars movies shooting exclusively in the living room of my college apartment.

7 was good.  8 was bad.  9 was ok.

Rouge One is fantastic.  Solo was good.

Rankings go:

5, 6, Rogue One, 4, Solo, 7, 9, 8.....who gives a F

Not sure how it's madness.  We agree on just about everything.  You like 6 more a lot more than I do.  Then other than that you like 9 a bit more than I did and you like 7 which I see as a shameless nostalgic cash grab.

Too many Muppets in 6, and it's absolutely better than 1-3 and 7-9.  But it's still not good.

1-3 is dog s

7 was somehow both predictable and a mess.  Schmoopie and I got into an argument because I predicted Han dying, she thought I saw a spoiler.  But it was obvious as hell before even going into the movie: Ford is cast but is also like 90.

8 was terrible

9 was really bad too.

So, 6, 5 and then don't waste my time with any of the others.

I literally didn't see a single star wars film until my 3rd year of college.  My roommate was a huge star wars nerd and had that VHS box set and watched it CONSTANTLY.  Between that and Family Guys spoofs of it I can hold my own with the best of them.

As for the prequil, I actually saw the first one in the theater.  The same roommate wanted to catch the first showing and asked if I wanted to go.  Sure, why not.  So we took a pledge with us to hold our place in line (because there were a ton of dorks dressed up and lined up outside waiting to get tickets for hours) while we got a window seat at the bar across the street.  Got hammered while watching a bunch of @we_gotta_believe's have light saber fights to pass the time.  Sadly, that was the highlight of that particular movie experience.
