I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I guess it’s possible, but I would doubt it. Hooker supposedly struggled a lot in two-high coverage. And if we’re going to play single high, obviously he isn’t a fit with Harris.

I want to say Mosher talked about that with hooker not exactly being a fit for what Gannon wanted to do. One of the podcasts talked about it.

Another thing to keep in mind with Hooker — if he’s going to miss the start of the year because of his Achilles injury, we’d have our two projected starters possibly missing the start of the year. Obviously that’s less than ideal.

They pushed dead cap into the future to give Flacco this one-year deal. How does it make sense to eat away future cap space to pay Flacco today?

Cap growth is going to be large enough to deal with the recent moves.

I like Mosher and Caplan, but I’m not sure how much they really know about Gannon, to be honest. Maybe they know 100 percent that Gannon wants to play two-high, but I’ll wait for more proof.

My overall point was I’d rather take a low risk high reward, young guy over 36 year old Flacco.

And we’ll still be well behind many teams in cap space because of all these bloated contracts. It’s bad business any way you cut it.

We agree there.

Pitts and Chase (I sort of get although not top 5-10 picks, imo).  I still do not understand the fascination with Waddle.  And it's not just around here, so many scouting sites have this kid ranked top 5-10.  What has he done that Henry Ruggs didn't do?  His numbers are a fraction of Ruggs' numbers.  Ruggs had an "ok" transition to the NFL but still looks somewhat raw.  How will Waddle be any different?

If his ankle is right, you are talking about a do-everything kind of player with ridiculous speed and movement.  For me; trying to guess what this offense intends to be.......any WR I take at 6 has to be about production in volume.  Meaning: I have to have multiple ways to get the ball in my best playmaker's hands.  Short-check.  Screen-check.  Jet motion-check. Deep-if Hurts can reach him.  Returns............watch his film.  Ward won't be back on punts any more.

Yeah but it’s a pointless fact. Flacco hasn’t been good in 4 or 5 years.

It's only pointless if you don't understand.

I understand fine.

2018 - benched

2019 - benched

2020 - backup

2021 - given 300% raise

Makes tons of sense....

He only got less last year because teams weren't sure how his neck would hold up. What is hard to understand about that?

It makes sense but that’s why Eagles should have let him fly off the San Fran. Not that they are legit contenders but they have a by far better roster and they didn’t even want to pay the price the Eagles did.

The Flyers stink.

Myers and Sanheim should be sent down to the Phantoms.

Giroux is MIA - again.

Worse Defense I’ve seen in long time. Provorov  has been their best defender and even he’s having a down year.

Never heard of this guy, and no chance that time is right, but that’s a helluva athlete of the rest is accurate.

Only 2M counts against the cap for Flacco. His 4th team

Honestly he may actually be here to compete for the starting job.

How funny if he beats out Hurts...

Ive thought for a while provy is a really good no. 2 defenseman but you need a no. 1 as he’s not there yet. It’s why i would’ve tried to move some contracts to clear space and make a serious run at pietrangelo. Even if you don’t get pietrangelo at least you clear some cap space going forward in case something else opened up.

Flacco sucks and it was a waste of money and it’s embarrassing.

What are the chances that Bengals take Pitts over LT?

I think the Falcons are the main team you have to worry about for taking Pitts.

Ok, so I watched some highlights. He’s not 4.29 fast, but he’s fast. I read an interview with him from February that said he was running 4.40 in training.

What's embarrassing is your post.

I think Sewell is also in play for atlanta tbh. Mcgary wasn’t good last year at RT. They lost Alex Mack. And based off projected depth chart they don’t have a viable LG. I think atlanta and cincy are both in play for pitts and Sewell

Nah paying Flacco 3.5 is.
