I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Good riddance.

We will get a 7th round comp pick for Nate Gerry and will draft the next Tom Brady, thus rendering Nate Gerry our best LB draft decision in franchise history.

Any news on Steven Nelson? Not that I expect to get him but that would certainly put the secondary in a better position.

This whole draft is in the fog because of opt-outs and no combine.

Another reason to like the trade.  Push some of your draft capital into 2022, where there would be more certainty.

<Insert "but Howie can't draft" comment here.>

For the same reason, I wouldn't mind seeing one of our third rounders get traded for a second in 2022.

Finally, kicking the can down the road in a good way.

Hey doc... you might want to rethink self-prescribing hallucinogens.   Best to get a second opinion.

I think the best way to look at the trade is that it gives the Eagles optionality. We couldn’t get the QB we wanted, so let’s make a small trade down to the bottom of tier 2 and collect more ammo for next year when there is a new batch of rookie QBs and Watson/Wilson might come available.

And maybe we get incredibly lucky and Hurts is good so we can use the three first rounders to build a quality group around him.

Chances are that Howie will repeat the process and use that pick on another S from college that they will convert to LB and they will start him because they don't value LB that much.

I didn’t know about his back, but he looks, to me, like the guy that won’t get beat deep, hits hard, and has ball skills. I like horn as well, though

Yeah Horn has length, wingspan and just ran like a 4.39 at his pro day. I’d love to get both him and Israel later in the draft as they play well together.

Watched some Nico Collins. Holy hell was Shea Patterson terrible.

I’m not sure how well he will fit here if Sirianni wants to get the ball into WRs’ hands within 5 yards, but he’s big and will block his butt off on the play side. He gives me some DJ Chark vibes in terms of a fast, vertical receiver with long arms.

I like him.

Well said, and you just know some nut in here is going to argue it’s just Synchronicity II

What a humiliating kick in the crotch that would be:

if you want to unlike him, watch his game against Army when Elijah Riley shut him down.

I guess that makes Riley better than the Ohio State CBs. We got a good one!

I don't think lighting up Okudah or Wade is the achievement you think it is. (Sidenote, I like Wade as a slot corner/safety. But as an outside corner, no bueno.)

That's why it's so hard to judge anyone on UM offense.  Nico Collins and Donovan Peoples-Jones were both studs coming in to the program.  DPJ made a few plays as a rookie and I expect Collins to be a good pro despite a pedestrian college career.  I'd take a flier on him in the 4th-5th.

Gerry did play against the 49ers, and Kittle caught 15 passes in 15 targets for 183 yards.

Someone told him he’d have a chance to start there .... was it the guy at the security gate?

I looked at their roster and they only have four LBs under contract, so maybe he does hve a chance to compete with the likes of Azeez Al-Shaair and Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles for a spot in their base D.

You could be sitting at six on draft day and Carolina wants a quarterback there and is willing to give you the same package at that time if not more and the dolphins trying to move up as well. Again you’re assuming the Dolphins were the only team that was gonna be in play for the six pick at any point in time. That was true today that doesn’t mean draft day there’s not multiple teams winding up trying to get up to six and that pick has more value. What if the Dolphins are on the clock, trade that pick to move back to 8, get a future first and a 3rd this year. Again my point was the value of that pick could be higher on draft day and you sold yourself short. That doesn’t mean I hate the move that’s just telling you the reality that that could be worth more on that particular day based on how the board falls.

A bird in the hand

Pigs get slaughtered

I just came to rejoice in the news that Gerry is gone. Hallelujah! 🙌

Don't forget the significant salary decrease going from 6th overall to 12th over. Its about a 10 mill difference in total contract amount.
