I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I could see Pitts going #4 to ATL

That would put me out of my misery pretty early. But they have a new GM and may learn from past mistakes (building from the outside in rather than the inside out). I could see them going with Slater.

I've heard similar things, and that's why farmers/homesteaders always shoot and then immediately bleed out the pigs when harvesting.    It makes sense.

From what I've heard from some homesteaders, a 'pasture-raised' pig has far more positive health benefits when consuming than the 'traditional' raised pig.  I wonder if the ferals offer any of those benefits... and I wonder if the pigs can be bled more rapidly how much of the off-flavor would still happen in the meat.

One friend swears if you castrate the hog immediately and bleed the hog that the meat can be saved.  But how many carry an a frame when they hunt. Not easy to bleed a 300+ hog in the wild.

Waddle I do agree with I would like Waddle at 12 but not feeling smith at 12.

When DO you want to feel Smith?

Pitts may be the greatest TE prospect ever. Falcons need a TE. If you have pick 4 you take the BPA.

Was hoping to relax for the rest of the evening but this draft requires a change of underpants.

Would it be possible to take a few moments to edit your mock draft before posting?

Maybe delete some carriage returns and put each pick on a single line.  It would make navigating the board a bit easier this time of year.

Thanks.

I think you’re underestimating how dysfunctional the Eagles offense was the past 2 years.  Wentz will return to being a top 12 NFL QB; I’d bet a sizeable amount on it.  If Wentz stays healthy he will play virtually every snap of every game

I don't know if he'll be top 12, he may. I've wondered just how many conflicting voices ("coaches" not players) there were in the 2020 Eagles offense. We may not know for years.

I have no idea how to do any of that, but thank you for the suggestion.

I have a suggestion for you, but it'll be in RnR later, fella!

If somehow Smith and Waddle are on the board at 12, which is unlikely, and they chose Waddle, I would give up. That would be worse than last year.

You can make an argument for both. Jefferson>>>>Reagor.

Not me I’d be stoked if either of them were the pick at 12. I think Waddle would be on par with Chase/Pitts if he hadn’t got hurt

Smith is way more polished. Can do it all.

How so? Waddle is an excellent prospect

Looks like my car will be in the shop for a week or more.  More than 60K miles without a problem, and Friday a noise coming from under the hood starting at 30 mph and getting worse as it accelerates.  Take it into the shop this morning and they tell me the transmission is toast; they need to get another one put in.  Luckily for me my car is just barely still in warranty — but they’ve put me in a rental for the next week or more.

Same exact thing happened about 7 years ago with one of my previous vehicles; again just before the warranty expired.  I’m either very lucky or very unlucky.

I know some people will have issue, but I like this draft a lot. Tried to be somewhat different.

I just like a more well-rounded WR with such a high pick. I'm not sure Waddle has the hands and release at the LOS a top pick should have. Similar to Ruggs, who was also an excellent prospect. He has struggled so far.

Exactly my concerns with Waddle.  You see these really fast WRs go in the first every year and they are going based primarily on their fast speed and they almost always seem to disappoint in the NFL.  Plus he is coming off of an ankle injury that ended his season.  Let's get away from the players with injury histories.  Devonta Smith's body gives you ever reason to be hesitant but he is so slippery smooth and hard for guys to get a grab of.  Great route runner, amazing hands, just a complete natural instinct to catch the ball and do something with it after.  I have more faith in Smith being a high volume WR in the NFL than I do Waddle.

Saw some good baseball prospects tonight. We have a damn good pitcher who is going to Lehigh. But we faced a pitcher going to LSU. And then, we were down 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs, and to face our last batter they threw in a kid who is going to Virginia Tech.

Honestly, maybe cause Ive never been a baseball guy but Id take our Lehigh kid any day over the LSU kid. I dont know what separates a D1 prospect from a D1 major program kid.

Vera-Tucker at 42 is surprising since he seems to be a lock in top 25. But according to many draft pundits with league sources, prospect rankings amongst all teams are all over the place. So maybe it is likely.

that’d also be an insane amount of draft capital next year. I’d be totally cool with this

Agreed. You get bodies on the OL, LB and secondary that all need it. You get help in the running game (which will help Hurts) and give him a solid, albeit not Chase level weapon. I am all for trading down again (though likely not that far).
