I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Why would it surprise anyone if we select another wtf player?

Did I read Paye's college info right, he had 2 sacks last year?

Well, I think Jayson Oweh had zero, and he’s also talked about as a first round prospect.

Nutty things happen when evaluating DE in a weak DE class

Heck, I'd rather take Oweh at 12 than Paye.

Yes but he only played 4 games.

But he still only has 11.5 across 28.

The eagles doing the opposite of what they did with Barnett who set the record in college

People upset at the idea of Kwity Paye at 12 are going to be all the more upset when the Eagles trade up to draft Paye.

That's just not funny. My lunch may not stay down after reading that.

I’m gonna ask a stupid question ....

Do guys ever get more sacks in the NFL than they did in college?

I said it they day we traded down to 12.

A project at 12.  Yep. That screams Howie.  And, Paye is a project. He doesn't have a lot of production in college.  So, we turn a 6th pick of the draft into a project. And, Lurie would be happy with that.  I'm hoping it doesn't happen. If it does, I probably won't watch the draft on Friday and Saturday. I won't waste my time.

I like Paye. I’d be fine with it. Not primo value, maybe, but should have a real high floor and a fairly high ceiling.

Danielle Hunter

If any of Waddle, Smith, Surtain or Horn are on the board and they take Paye...I just give up.

I heard some thing where someone was talking about Paye and was saying that the way he wasn’t used in college wasn’t ideal for individual stats. Something about running lots of stunts and him not being asked to go one on one with a T very often. I didn’t catch all of it. But said there was some scheme reason for his lack of statistical production

You have made it further than most on here. You are at stage of acceptance.

I’d be fine with any of those 4 players, but doubt they’ll go that route.

Enough people are bothered by the spoilers that it seems like common decency to wait until it’s announced on TV.

Well no one struggles around here with common decency so I expect we will all be ok.  Also, I do think using spoiler tags for any reaction to a pick is reasonable.

We are speaking the pick into existence.

I’m not sure it’s possible that Paye would be the best player available at 12. Four QBs are going top 11, along with Pitts, Chase and Sewell. That’s 7 players. That leaves Surtain, Horn, Smith, Waddle and Slater. If we pass on any of them for Paye, it would be highly disappointing.

What makes him have a high floor?

He lives in the attic ......

Drafting a project in the 1st round when you desperately need day 1 starters is certainly a great way to piss off the franchise that already wants you fired

He’s athletic, tries hard and is smart.

Maybe they’ll cut to the Eagles war room right after the pick is announced and Howie will be facing the camera, flipping the bird

terrible sack record in college. athletic smart guy in college should be able to get to the qb. idk you might be right but I don't think so.

Breer has Paye going 11 to the Giants and says the Eagles have talked about moving in front of Dallas for a corner.
