He may well have a good career but trying to mock a move as overly risky while advocating for taking a significantly undersized CB in the same position doesn't make much sense to me.

He is not a DE. Most of his sacks at DE came as coverage sacks. Hes not a edge rusher.

I think so, I could see gannon doing same Thing JJ used to do with Brandon whiting, have him at LE on early downs and slide down to DT in passing situations, though Williams is a far better athlete than whiting was 

They better have a good plan at CB after the draft. Maybe Hurts is good enough to let us trade up for Stingley next year? Kind of puzzling.

its hard to find worse CB tape whan when watching him get embarrassed by Gabriel Davis in my draft prep last year. I cant forget it. He was totally off my board. Biggest do not want in this draft. Glad hes gone.

Milton Williams is a great 3rd round pick.  

Worst case and most likely scenario is you get a versatile tweener who helps you as a backup.

Best case scenario is he harnesses his unique athletic ability and becomes the best pass rusher and DL on the team.

In the 3rd round??  Yes please.
