I haven’t seen anything or read any of the details but I am sure you are correct. I expected more of an open fight but it appears the non Trump types will just try to hang on and ride it out at this point. Things can change quickly in any case.

I expected more of a split but it's actually a minority of Republican politicians that are not in the cult. After the vote on Marjorie Qanon, I said RIP GOP. The distinction I made was between the politicians and the voters. I know a lot of Republican voters and not one of them supports the cult. Polls indicate there is a divide among voters and thousands are changing their voter registrations. Something's gotta give. Whether a viable 3rd party or everyone just joining the Democrats like Vikas has said and try to keep them more moderate and snuff out the Trump cult. Maybe arrests and convictions, I don't know. Something has to snap people out of it.

Hawley and Green are pretty much open NSDAPs at this point, there's at least half a dozen others who aren't far behind.
