April 30, 20214 yr Reagor, Smith, Ertz, and Goedert. Sanders in the backfield. That could be a pretty good foursome for Hurts to throw to.. The O Line needs some depth in this draft. But time to turn attention to the defense.
April 30, 20214 yr Great pick! Slight overpay by the chart but worth it to get the guy over the Giants. Still netted a lot moving down when Chase & Pitts were both gone anyway

Howie looking smart with this move. but more needs to be seen with howie. TIme will tell. The point is that some of us aren’t sold on Smith, whether it is at 6 or 10.

April 30, 20214 yr Happy with Smith. Now Dallas will have 2 all pro LB’s. And we r still looking for someone to throw to the one receiver we have

April 30, 20214 yr Did anyone else get a draft day felling. We went from 6 to 12 then back up to 10 and gave our division rival an extra pick. Could we have traded our 6 for the 9 th pick and still received a first next year.
April 30, 20214 yr We got lucky that Dallas was willing to trade back because we took the Giants guy who was also a division rival

April 30, 20214 yr The way the draft unfolded kind of forced Howie's hand. With no 4th (or 5th) QB getting picked in the top 10, all the playmakers at the positions the Eagles wanted were gone after the 9th pick other than Smith (the two CBs, the other two WRs, Pitts, Sewell). They could have gambled Smith dropped to 12, but they could have easily gotten left holding the bag. The Cowboys were willing to trade down because neither of the CBs were there any more. I think Howie did the sensible thing.

We may have been going Smith anyway, got a 1st for free Basically got a 1st next year for a 3rd this year and we still got our guy we wanted at 6 in the #10 spot! edit..Also screwed the Giants at the Cowboys expense as they immediately traded down 😂😂

He literally got a 1st next year. If he stays put at 6.. who does he take? Waddle? Seriously.. if you have a choice.. Waddle or Smith and a 1st... pretty sure we take Smith and the 1st. edit: And in this scenario.. if you DON'T take Smith.. he goes to the Giants and he torches us for the next 7-8 seasons.
