May 1, 20214 yr I'm sure this is the guy I heard about a day or two before the draft? Meant to be as explosive as the previous two from Memphis.
May 1, 20214 yr They are raving about this pick on NFL network, calling the steal of the draft. Kid is 200 pounds and runs a 4.4 40.
May 1, 20214 yr If an Austin Powers script writer were naming a RB character: Gainwell. Round 6: a QB named Throwgood.

May 1, 20214 yr Quote Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Memphis: As a player, Gainwell has some running back / slot receiver versatility, much like a number of other players coming out of Memphis in recent years, like Tony Pollard (Cowboys) and Antonio Gibson (WASTEAM). Gainwell had a huge season in 2019, rushing 231 times for 1459 yards (6.3 YPC), and 13 TDs, while adding 51 catches for 610 yards, and 3 TDs. That would be over 2000 yards from scrimmage. - 12 players who make sense for the Eagles in Round 5 of the 2021 NFL Draft | PhillyVoice PFF just said he may be the best receiving RB in the draft, but he is a project when it comes to pure running.

Boston Scott has given a lot of hard work and doing his best but he's not a #2 back. Having this kid mixed in with them and Howard (if they keep all 4?) is a good RB room.
May 1, 20214 yr This pick is insane value at 150. Had him pegged as a R3 guy. Over 2000 all purpose yards in college. Amazing receiver out of the backfield. 200+ lbs and runs a 4.4 with amazing elusiveness. This may be my steal of the draft so far.

I mean they seem to like Scott (he's OK) and they need a bigger RB so at this point they have to keep Howard.
