Hoo, I wanted this guy.

(I’m no expert)

Not a bad place to take a flier on a RB.

Last top 100 prospect on DJ’s board

Like this pick. very versatile player

I'm sure this is the guy I heard about a day or two before the draft? Meant to be as explosive as the previous two from Memphis.

Sanders replacement

They are raving about this pick on NFL network, calling the steal of the draft.  Kid is 200 pounds and runs a 4.4 40.

If an Austin Powers script writer were naming a RB character: Gainwell.

Round 6: a QB named Throwgood.

Not a bad RB. I like the pick and the value.

Tough and productive as hell.

He took Micah parson's soul one time.

Jeremiah thinks he will be a good fit in the Rotation behind Sanders.

Yeah, people talk highly of this guy.

Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Memphis: As a player, Gainwell has some running back / slot receiver versatility, much like a number of other players coming out of Memphis in recent years, like Tony Pollard (Cowboys) and Antonio Gibson (WASTEAM). Gainwell had a huge season in 2019, rushing 231 times for 1459 yards (6.3 YPC), and 13 TDs, while adding 51 catches for 610 yards, and 3 TDs. That would be over 2000 yards from scrimmage.

PFF just said he may be the best receiving RB in the draft, but he is a project when it comes to pure running.

Yeah I'm sure he was discussed on BWF or BGN and I'm sure they said he's a lot of fun to watch. Maybe one of the most fun players in this draft.

Yes and I like getting a young RB to develop and mix in with Sanders.  Boston Scott has given a lot of hard work and doing his best but he's not a #2 back.  Having this kid mixed in with them and Howard (if they keep all 4?) is a good RB room.

This pick is insane value at 150. Had him pegged as a R3 guy. Over 2000 all purpose yards in college. Amazing receiver out of the backfield. 200+ lbs and runs a 4.4 with amazing elusiveness. This may be my steal of the draft so far.

I think they keep 4... I mean they seem to like Scott (he's OK) and they need a bigger RB so at this point they have to keep Howard.

Gainwell's brother, Curtis Jr. had brain surgery. My Bad.

He ended his career but is now in the NFL draft? Wut?

NeXtGen stats had him as the 4th rated RB in the draft as well.

When was that?  Did he play and was productive after that though?  Obviously it didn't end his pursuit of a football career.

That’s not him, that’s his brother
