It means when you do go out, be aware of your surroundings, who's around you, and leave a buffer between yourself and people you don't know. If you approach somebody, take precaution and wear a facemask. It won't kill you to wear a mask for a few hours when you go out.

October 18, 20214 yr Speaking of social distancing, my 27 person poker league starts again on Friday. 27 dudes, the majority unvaccinated, probably around a third of which don't even believe coronavirus is anything more than a common cold at three tables usually in an enclosed garage. Goes without saying there will be zero masks. We made it through last season without any outbreaks. Should be interesting this year.

If you are older and feel it is best to take extra precautions then do so. So you will never go to another sporting event, tough to keep a buffer there.
