There's no theory needed.  A mob stormed the capital, severely beating cops, smashing windows, breaking down doors and screaming "Hang Mike Pence".  They didn't get to Mike Pence or any other official, thanks to the Capital Police and a huge amount of luck.  But obviously, the lives of Pence and every other official in that building's lives were in danger, and yet Trump did nothing.  Despite Hogan begging the White House to send in the National Guard, they let it go on for hours.  And for some absolutely insane reason, you're defending it.

Nope, laughing at you for assuming that everyone who participated in a stupid chant during a riot is some sort of stone-cold evidence that they were all attempting to go on a murderous rampage does not mean I'm defending what they did. 

So, why do you think no one is charged with attempting to murder federal officials? Of course you should have a theory about that, because as you've said multiple times now, the evidence is there. I hate to keep harping on that point, but it seems significant. If it's obvious that they were trying to murder officials, why hasn't anyone been charged?

If a crowd trespassed in your yard and home chanting "Hang Kzs overweight, extremely loose wife that has terrible taste in music!!! (Whatever that pigs name might be)", would you want the judge to go easy on them?

Van, I don't think you are going to get there at this point, so I'll help you out. No one has been charged with attempting to kill federal officials because there's no proof that was anyone's goal. A chant doesn't rise to that level. I know you've watched CNN and HBO docu-dramas on the subject so that might come as a blow, but that's why the scary insurrectionists weren't charged with those offenses. Let me know if you need to talk if you're having trouble coping with this revelation. I know it's tough.

I’m not objecting at all. I just find it humorous how all the TDS people go from one extreme to the other when it comes to stopping riotous mobs, depending on which political side of the isle the riotous mob is on.

Or...in one case, the riot and violence was in Washington, DC, where the head of the Executive Branch of the Federal Government had the legal right and obligation to defend property. And in the other cases, the riots were in states and cities where the governors and mayors refused assistance from the Federal Government. 

Were those mayors and governors wrong? I think so. But equating the two situations is ridiculous, and you know better.

It was exactly what I said then and now. There was no right for the Federal Government to override the governors and mayors and send in troops without consent. I'm not responsible for dumb arguments made by other people.
