Yes, but it seems that it's more effective stopping transmission of Delta, even though Omicron is more closely related to the original strain that it was developed for.

Depends on the types of mutations, and where they're located I guess (on spike or elsewhere.)

Have you ever been to a Ronald McDonald House?  It's just a place to stay in the hospital and hang out for a couple nights while a loved one is admitted.  We stayed at one when my Mom was dying, shaved, ate a snack, etc.  Eviction is a pretty strong word there.  I'd be surprised if anyone was actually evicted.  More like they wouldn't be able to enter if they were unvaxxed.

And given that the patients of the families staying there are frequently immunocompromised, that makes sense. An outbreak at a Ronald McDonald house would be devastating.

At some point, after the pandemic is over, we're going to have to address where this virus came from. Not interested in getting into a whole thing about it but there's enough serious people questioning whether this virus could have occurred naturally that it deserves a serious conversation. And I hope it's done in a way that doesn't instigate backlash against a group of people.
