The largest study to date, is 1,400 people. But there was that one province in India!

At the last 7-11 franchisee meeting, we all decided to find out if we could fool the white people into taking horse paste. We already found a way to get you fools to pay $20 for AAA batteries, so we had to take it up a notch. So we put out a fake story just to gauge the intellect of our customers. You guys did NOT disappoint.
March 18, 20224 yr For those keeping track the gap in the numbers of COVID deaths in Sweden vs. Norway/Denmark continues to shrink. Norway went from a high of 1:10 to now 1:4.4 and Denmark has dropped from 1:4 to 1:1.8 We can expect those to continue to shrink. If you add in the difference in the flu seasons of 2019 the Norway numbers drop under 1:2 The differences in demographics can easily explain a sizeable chunk of the rest. The super mistake made by Sweden was being too slow to react and not protecting the nursing homes in the initial wave.

Probably because our scientists and fact checkers are smart enough to realize that a more comprehensive study on a dewormer to treat a virus would be a waste of time.

March 22, 20224 yr Double vaxxed: ✔️ Boosted: ✔️ And now infected twice. But just think how positive the test would have been if she weren't triple vaxxed!
March 22, 20224 yr We need an updated vaccine, that much is clear. It's still doing a pretty damn good job keeping folks out of hospitals, though.

March 22, 20224 yr Good article that uses global data to put BA.2 in perspective. I feel like we're just sort of holding our breath with this one. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/interactive/2021/tracker-omicron-spread/?itid=sf_coronavirus_top-table

GF and I both got infected but only she got COVID. Also, every woman she knows that was infected was at least mildly symptomatic, but of all the infected men that she either knows personally or who are SOs of her coworkers, all were asymptomatic. Interesting.

Interesting. Barack just got Covid and was symptomatic but Michelle didn’t. Fwiw

There is no indication that this strain is more serious than the last one and in fact the info so far says exactly the opposite.

I pretty much agree, although I haven't see info saying it's less severe than Omicron, just that they more or less seem to be about the same (although we need more data on this). It is more transmissible, though, so if the level of severity is about the same, then the number of hospitalizations will be higher than last time around, and that last wave still did a number on hospitals. Still to many unvaxxed morons out there. So, like I said, wait and see.
