My neighbor across the street, the Trumper, the this is all a hoax person, at home in bed with all the symptoms waiting for her test results.  I don’t wish ill will on anyone, but it would be hilarious if she has it after all her conspiracy BS.

"Hilarious" - of course you do not wish ill will on anyone..

Just wait, if she dies from it, he and Dawkins4Prez will shine up their dancing shoes and do the tango on her grave!

I would never disrespect the dead like that.  The Waltz is much more appropriate.

Smh again with this sh-t?  There isn’t anything "hilarious” about someone being infected with a deadly virus.

Ironic is the word I should have used.  My wife has to wear a mask 10 hours a day at work in a hospital, meanwhile our neighbor complains day and night that she has to wear one for 10 minutes and the store because "she cant breathe".  Maybe if you didn't smoke 2 packs a day you could breathe.

I don't wish ill on anyone but it's hard to muster sympathy for anti-maskers. They are a big reason why things are as bad as they are here. Wearing a mask is a pretty minuscule self sacrifice for the good of the country. Our parents and grand parents sacrificed their lives to fight for their country, this generation won't put on a cloth mask when they go shopping.

Eh there's a difference between ambivalence or even thinking someone "deserves it", and laughing at/celebrating their death.

@downundermike I don't think he is going to the level of dawkins4prez. I think Mike is just saying he doesn't feel bad for someone that gets it when they chose to ignore it and they acted like arseholes themselves for ignoring it and them laughing at us for trying to do the right thing.

And there’s a difference between not having sympathy for someone who takes a deliberate action to put themselves in danger, and actively thinking that it’s hilarious that it happens.

Either way does anyone actually care if someone gets it that was actively ignoring protocol and calling it a hoax? I doubt it, maybe saying hilarious was the wrong approach but, still I think most don't care that someone gets it if they ignored all of it and call it fake. I don't think Mike would actively laugh at someone and think it's fantastic that someone got it. Just kind of a shoulder shrug is more of what he is saying

I think in that context "it would be hilarious" is more of a figure of speech than him literally saying he'd laugh-out-loud uproariously if someone died.

Agreed Mike has never shown to be that guy. Eagleva calls this whole thing a joke and says the virus fake. If he got it I would kind of chuckle to myself because he was so ridiculous towards the thought of it but, it not literally laughing at him and glad he got it. More like this fool thought it was a complete joke and now he has it . Hope he learned his lesson type thing

All of the above

How are you feeling by the way?

Also haven't seen What the F and I hope he is recovered as well as can be with no lingering symptoms.

@What The F has been posting in the blog, he said he has some lingering issues I think.

There's nothing funny about having COVID and being symptomatic. It's effing terrifying.

On the other hand I have little to no sympathy for the anti-maskers or COVID truthers who knowingly endanger themselves and everyone else around them by not wearing a mask or spreading misinformation about the virus.

My neighbor who potentially has it believes its all a conspiracy so Trump is not re elected.

i know a lot of people...including family members...who are saying it will miraculously go away after the election.

Sheesh. Someone unleashed a global pandemic, impacting nearly every country on every continent(with their own politicians and elections)...to unseat a man who's proud of his ability to remember person, woman, man, camera, TV?

yeah that narrative is all over.

same here. its crazy and not limited to any one type of trumper. some are HS graduates, some have bachelor degrees, some even went to a trade school.

And I'm sure those people are laughing at us and think we are idiots. So I think we should lay off of saying people that shrug their shoulders at anti maskers and get a chuckle out of it . I doubt anyone of us want people to die from it but, the other side has no problems calling us any name under the sun.

The president sure as hell doesn't care about it so expect people to be a bit vindictive when his followers get it

that caution tape should probably be above her funhole.

@mr_hunt she probably needs to be tested for more than Covid
