Yeah as has already been pointed out to you: they put those restrictions into place on November 18 (that’s after Biden won the election in case you were wondering).  And they are now pushing the date back another 2 weeks (that means longer restrictions in case you were wondering).

so they’re actually doing the exact opposite of what you claim.   Try not being a complete troll for once in your life.

Oh, so they put those restrictions in place while Trump was still in office and then removed them just days after he left office? Kind of exactly like I said. Well this changes everything!

Sorry, but I'm not going to stop advocating for our men and women in uniform. The sheer number deployed to DC was complete and utter idiocy to anyone with a brain. The only violent riots on inauguration day were done by leftists in the pacific northwest.

I just can't believe anyone could possibly defend their decision to pile soldiers on top of each other during a pandemic. Absolutely no regard for the lives of those soldiers. None.

Sorry, I will not stop either.  THEY SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN THERE!!!  Period.  The problem is your refusal to see WHY they were called in.  Anyone with a brain would have accepted the results of an election well before Jan the 6th!!!!!!    Is any of this getting through yet

Agreed. Sending 30,000 troops to DC because a couple hundred people pushed their way into a building a few weeks prior was utter lunacy. We're on the same page.

Regardless, our political elite did find it necessary to bring tens of thousands in. At that point, our political elite have an obligation to not subject them to deplorable conditions and leave them vulnerable to catching a deadly virus. We need to expect better from our supposed "leaders." That's all I'm saying.

Fair enough.  This was at least a legible post kz.   Perhaps 30K was overkill but a message had to be sent.  Of course they should of been better taken care of, especially while being deployed on US soil.   It's been rectified, however, as I understand it, and I think we'll see most of them start to be sent back home soon.

Yes, but the damage was already done. Tough to put the toothpaste back in the tube after thousands have been exposed through the utter carelessness of the people in charge. Hopefully cases won't grow past the hundreds already reported into the thousands.

Edit: Nearly 200 cases already and climbing:

Better taken care of? They are soldiers who have slept in grass, mud, sand, concrete, and everything in between. Stop babying them.

I know what I signed up for when took the oath and so did they. It is a total non story.

That is really insulting to bad comedy relief.  Not sure if there is a word to describe how bad it is.

Indoor capacity restrictions. So no indoor music gigs, no festivals, no bars, no clubs. No mass gatherings.

Bars and clubs will be back soon. Probably fall. Concerts are a bit trickier, but maybe allowable with masks in the same time frame. Just depends on getting those shots outs.

My brother would consider this a paradise. He has to sleep outside on the ground just for yearly drills.

I've got to stop watching the news. I mean there is no end in sight with this is there! This is going to be how we live the rest of our lives in lockdown.

I checked out from the news, Covid numbers, social media, etc. about two weeks ago and definitely don't regret it.

I don't see it bud. I don't see that we will go back to how things were for several years. We don't know how this vaccine performs against new strains and we don't know how long it even lasts.

Absolutely. I did the same, then the last couple of days we saw the news and it put me in a really bad place again. So I'm checking out of the news.

Yeah, but what does Zuker think about all of this?

Does anyone care at this point?

So, who thinks it's a coincidence that Hammering Hank passed away two weeks after taking the COVID-19 vaccine?

There are no reports of Hank having health issues prior to getting vaccinated.

The data we have clearly shows otherwise, but if you think it doesn't, that's fine. Not gonna try to talk you into taking a vaccine if you don't want to.

Huh? When in that statement did I say I was not going to take the vaccine?

You didn't.  He sees whatever he wants to see and then he'll use that to try to belittle you.  Standard for him.
