What restrictions have you had?  Because, like I said, I've made plenty of changes on my own (and most of the people I know have too).  The armed to the teeth/screaming about freedom/licking doorknob types are the ones that never changed anything in their lives from the get-go.  And, no surprise, those are most of the people I know that have gotten the virus.

So... We've had 3 national lockdowns where everything bar essential shops were closed. We had a tier system which meant different restrictions depending on case levels etc. But even in areas of low cases etc things were still pretty restrictive.

Right now pubs, bars and restaurants can only open outside (in the UK with our weather!). Retail shops are open. You have to wear a mask in shops, grocery shops etc. We can only meet other households outside and no more than 6 people.

Last summer all pubs etc had to close by 10pm.

No, the weekend numbers are always lower

See we don't find that in the UK. Deaths are lower at the weekend as they aren't reported as quickly but cases remain about the same.

Very regional. Southern states basically have none. Northwest is rolling back capacity restrictions now. Northeast seems to have plans in place to roll back. Mask mandates are last to fall and again depend on region.

I was in Florida Friday.  Tampa to be specific.  People are wearing masks going from place to place but bars\restaurants were at full capacity.

If things hold the same as most weeks today should be about 55,000 or so, good thing is deaths are down as well as hospitalizations because vaccines work which I never said they didn't

Been a little over an hour.  Still here.  Have a bruise already but doesn't hurt.  I wasn't really relaxed.  Working the arm, took 2 tylenol, some prozac, started claratin over the weekend, always take a daily D3 supplement, have my water.   I'm out of wine so won't be drinking any of that today.  Somebody told me to eat pineapple, so I did that too.  First does only had a sore arm.

Definitely don't drink alcohol.

Yeah I think the vaccine is really good against preventing serious illness and deaths.

We will never see zero cases but if lucky we may see zero deaths by the end of the year

Since this is the Corona thread, do you know what is super comforting?  Being on a packed plane and having someone 5 rows behind you hacking away the entire flight, only taking brief breaks to puke.

Why the HELL would you board a plane in that condition with COVID going on?

Oh yeah covid is going to be with us forever now. It'll be like the flu. We've got to live with it so the key is making sure it is manageable and not devastating.

Be ready for the next pandemic. Coming soon at least that’s what you will hear from the media

I scheduled my second for a Sunday.  I'm figuring on a long weekend and taking a sick day Monday in case it kicks me a little.

Too bad my D doesn't live here anymore.

Sorry.  The 24th is going to be a year.  Can't believe it, still.

One bottle down!   Water that is!   Better?
