I’ve seen far too many Pro mask and anti-vaxx soy boys in the last year.  You guys would all die first in a real zombie crisis.   😂

I'm pro-mask, pro-vaxx, and pro as much meat as I can stuff my face with. I think I'll be just fine. At the moment, I'm still masking up since I have to get tested for travel. I will probably drop it at some point this summer but generally still think that there's a logic to doing it for demonstrating best practice. It's still relatively early in this thing and I don't want to give an appearance that would encourage the unvaccinated to go maskless. Seems like it's about 50/50 in the stores right now and some businesses are still actively encouraging it, but once that drops a bit more, it will start to feel pretty pointless.

 I am hoping to get the J&J vaccine this week and then 2 weeks from back to work and out in the world after 15 months, Never wore a mask for more than 30 seconds and dont ever plan on it ever again other than of course to go in and get the vaccine, If I should get the virus and somehow pass it on to an anti vaxx moron then great

I got my second vaccine on Saturday! 😁

And the UK also recorded zero covid deaths yesterday for the first time since March last year.

It's the least surprising thing ever that you haven't been vaccinated yet. It's also cute that you pretend like you ever will.

Pretty much optional everywhere in PA now. Even the state store only asks that you mask up, its not required.

I'm kind of shocked he's even considering getting the J&J

I've had to fly and quarantine too many times during this crap. Had to wear a mask and a face shield each time per airline regulations. Plus I think I've taken roughly 12 or so PCR tests. Qatar to Orlando is like a 20hr flight (or longer depending on the route you take) and I had to make that round trip 3 times since March 2020. I also had to fly from Qatar to Kuwait and Qatar to Abu Dhabi both round trip. Those flights weren't too bad b/c Qatar airways still leaves an open seat between passengers but the mandatory quarantines in country were God awful. The wife asked me when I plan to take vacation this year to come back home and I told her I'm not coming back until next year at the very earliest. Funk dat

Yup.  Every store sign has been changed to "masks preferred unless fully vaccinated."  Not like they're checking cards at the door.  I'd say it's still a majority of people wearing masks in stores.  I'll be at two weeks post 2nd shot Sunday and I don't really intend on continuing to wear a mask.

I don’t get why so many people are still wearing masks tbh.  The whole reason I got vaccinated was so I could stop wearing those stupid things on my face.

I 100% agree.  If I don't ever have to ask or answer "Do you have a mask?" anytime we're leaving the house I'll be a happy camper.

According to CDC: Unvaccinated people should continue to wear a facemask. Fully vaccinated people do not need to wear a facemask anywhere, except while traveling, and perhaps a few other places:

Once I was fully vaccinated, I continued to wear a facemask in public out of courtesy. But I stopped after a few days because other folks stopped wearing theirs. It's pointless if I'm the only one masking up. I am no longer much danger to spreading disease.

I have an 11-y-o who isn’t eligible yet.  So I still like her to wear one.  We went to Jo Ann fabrics last night though and I didn’t wear a mask in the store.

Both my kids are still too young.  They still have to wear them for school and indoor sports activities.
