Yeah, the idea that one of his kids would become seriously ill from coronavirus because a mask mandate was lifted for 5 days is not one that is based in reality. It’s a temper tantrum because someone he perceives as right wing got their way.

And to reiterate, there will be no mask mandate in schools in the fall despite the fact that coronavirus will still be a thing, and Jon will not have a problem with it because it will no longer be seen as a political issue.

Of course it's based in reality.  It's obviously possible that someone could get sick in 5 days.  Numbers are going down but it'll take time before Biden completely eliminates the virus in the US.  I know his confident, strong demeanor makes it seem like he's already personally ended the pandemic but we've still got a little more time before we're all the way there.  But in the fall, if more people are vaccinated and the numbers keep going down, then it'll be even more safe for kids to forgo masks.  The weird part is that you seem so aggressively triggered by other people's kids wearing masks, that you support grand gestures of virtue signaling.

Get enough parents to join you and watch how quickly they walk back that decision

It's the last 5 days of the year, 2 of which are half-day. I don't believe they'll walk back the decision regardless, these are the types of individuals that just don't care - they simply want to enforce their view on everybody else.

No it's not.  Jon's concerned about the safety of his children, obviously.  It's pretty standard stuff for parents.

Removing a mask mandate for 5 days, on the other hand, does absolutely nothing for anyone's safety.  It's an embarrassingly political temper tantrum performed by, let's face it, the dumbest group of people that have likely ever graced this earth (and I'm including early men here who were little more than upright chimps) and done to impress equally as stupid people like yourself.  I can tell you're very impressed though, so mission accomplished!

That's exactly what it is. They even started a PAC! And there's an absolutely insane woman who goes to every school board meeting and rants about how masks are child abuse.

If anybody wonders how someone could possibly consider dating or even socializing with someone like Kz, I'll remind you that there are other people out there not only AS dumb as he is, but even dumber.

Of all of your stupid posts, this one is a true masterpiece. So, please enlighten us... how many days of exposure to covid does it take to actually contract it?

At this point, by fall I am 50%-50% about kids continuing to wear facemasks inside school buildings. Leaning towards schoolchildren continuing to wear masks to start the school year, at least. I think it all depends vaccination rates among children. Currently there is no vaccine for kids under 12.

I would not send unvaccinated children into a school building if unvaccinated kids are not wearing facemasks.

I'll see if I can dig up some info from this crazy woman, but here's a similar situation:

Walmart woman with pokies in a far-too-small-for-her-size outfit rants about how masks are child abuse? Kz you should get in on this, maybe she's single*

* spoiler: she's almost definitely single.

This is the type of shenanigans that goes on at school board meetings:

yeah, I'm sure lots of kids were complaining about face masks "raising their body temperatures" and whether mask use can be construed as child abuse

one of the ringleaders has this stupid crap on her facebook page:

May be an image of text that says 'Replying to @JohnMLatimer @Dwight25303912 and others A MASKED CHILD IS AN ABUSED CHILD PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT (NOT RUNB TOM 10:57 AM 2020 Twitter for Android'

I'm not triggered at all. Just laughing at jonsnowhair for whining about a mask mandate being removed over the course of 5 days. Like masks are some impenetrable shield against coronavirus or kids get severely ill if they happen to catch it. Here's another prediction, jon is not going to make his kids miss the last week of school, his kids are going to go and then they're not going to catch it.

And again, coronavirus will still be here in the fall and no one will have a problem with the lack of a mask mandate in schools. you hate to see it.

Masks hardly do anything (as Fauci said in his emails and backed up by real world data). So yeah, jon's being a **** because that's what liberals do. Like most ****es, he's all talk and won't hold his kids out anyway. They'll go for the last five days and be completely fine. You really love to see it.

Wow...

🔥🔥🔥

Can Kz! possibly operate a motor vehicle?

Make change?

Seems unlikely.

false. there are numerous studies that show the efficacy of masks.

https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7021e1.htm

And I cannot help but laugh at all the morons parading around Fauci's thoughts on mask usage early on in the pandemic as some kind of proof that masks don't work. There was literally nothing revealed by these emails, but yeah early on he didn't think they'd be effective unless you were exhibiting symptoms of the disease, but when enough evidence piled up that broad adoption of masks can help ensure carriers of the virus emit fewer droplets that can be picked up by other people (either by filtering it out or deflecting it away/down away from someone else's face) he then updated his position based on new evidence.

That's how science works.

A good subset of this group are the conspiracy theorists, who ignore context if its contradictory to their stance.  Back then nothing was known and we were all over the place

As for cancer, do you really thing the big pharma wants to wipe out their cash cow?

Here's the solution to cancer that big pharma labeled quackery because they can't get a patent on it.

You are correct about this, just like the oil companies don't want alternatives

Still arguing about masks? Good lord, yes masks help, but the people saying they are not a bother and they will wear them forever are full of it

1) that’s absolutely NOT what Fauci said.

2) the real world data ABSOLUTELY backs up the FACT that surgical masks greatly reduce the spread of respiratory viruses.

You have NO CLUE as to what you are taking about, as usual.

I feel like people don't want the pandemic to go away. 95% of people still wear masks in the grocery store and I live in a heavy dem area so I imagine everyone is vaccinated. Do we want to return to normalcy or not?
