Most likely the virus developed among Chinese farming of exotic animals in central/southern China. That's where the virus jumped from species to species, eventually to humans. Now if you want to make the case exotic animal farming in China is unnatural, fine, but it is ridiculous to think COVID-19 virus was developed in a lab. Fauci says that is ridiculous. I’m going to keep bumping this so that we can watch it age., like a fine wine.

Did you mean to step in that so F'ing hard, or are you just that dense? What do I mean, you say? Oh, just the whole "forcing healthy people to wear masks" thing. People die of things all the time. Guess we shouldn't use ladders, or drive, or walk, or swim, or even breathe. Because there is always a risk of dying, and my 0.0001% chance of catching AND dying of COVID somehow gives you the right to mandate masks and shut down small businesses. But go on. Your obesity offends me anyway.

The emails reveal he is a liar, and youre hurt because you made him your hero The only thing about those emails that is even questionable IMO is the fact that his response to the person who sent him the first email about the speculations regarding the Wuhan Virology Lab was redacted. Other than that, he seemed like a fairly straightforward person in his news conferences vs. private emailing.

You have NO CLUE as to what you are taking about, as usual. In his defense, the conversation was about cloth masks, and I'm guessing you were quite intentional in specifying "SURGICAL masks". Because he is right re: cloth masks... they are useless.

We were all home together on telework, kid at school on a laptop. Teachers gave students plenty of time to interact together. We had scouts meetings on Zoom. We met other kids outside when safe, when virus levels were low, wearing masks, limiting chance for transmission. We found another family we trust, to pod our kids with. He met more kids he knows online, on devices, since they were all gaming more. Damn cell phones aren’t a problem if used correctly. Monitor what the kids are using them for. You’re paying the bill, right? WTF do you think changes virus levels???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

So in this rare instance, aggressive rejection of masks is indeed a selfish acting of forcing your own needs on others. And if you ever met me in person you'd laugh at the obese comment. I joke about being heavier than I'd like to be, mostly because I used to be so skinny you'd think I was anorexic. My BMI is significantly lower than yours fatty.

Doubtful, considering only one of us have posted pictures of significant weight loss. Why did you type it knowing it was complete BS? Who do you think I surround myself with...? Probably people of the same age group, no? Other people who are ultra low risk, no? And unless you're running around with N-95 or surgical masks, your embroidered, glittery cloth mask is about as effective as holding your ish stained tighty-whities over your face. Not to give you any Rule 34 ideas.
June 4, 20214 yr That's simply false, probably based on the false premise that a mask needs to be able to filter material as small as the virus. The virus needs to hitch a ride on water molecules. It's not able to be airborne in its own. Airborne water molecules are significantly larger than virus material, and are easily trapped or deflected by cloth masks. The goal isn't to stop every virion from passing through by trapping them in a filter. It's to deflect from a breathable area as many if the water droplets as possible, thereby preventing a sufficient amount of the virus to cause an infection. This is the notion that Fauci was lacking early on. But one that became obvious once more information was available.

God knows these kids are going to have social development issues anyway bc of the damn cell phones, but now theyre encouraged more to isolate themselves. Far greater cost than allowing them some semblance of normalcy That doesnt even mention the utter economic destruction the government caused the US economy. Such a rich fantasy life. Trump took down Trump. Had he not told his supporters that voting by mail was rigged (the method he used to vote) and generally made them suspicious of voting, he would have won. TDS is what Trump supporters have - unable to face reality or admit Trump is a con man who seems a pathological liar.

Because he is right re: cloth masks... they are useless. Cloth masks provide little benefit, yes. Better than nothing, but not as good as surgical masks. But people are blatantly misconstruing his email to Sylvia Burwell. He says right there in the first sentence that masks are more for people that are infected to prevent them from spreading it uninflected people.
June 4, 20214 yr 12 hours ago, Joe Shades 73 said: If you are vaccinated the science say the chances of both getting the virus and passing it own are pretty much non existent so what is the point of the mask if vaccinated? One important thing to remember with those recent studies about transmission post-vaccination is that they have not been done on the J&J vaccine simply due to timing of that vaccine's release. Once more data comes in on transmission after vaccination for the J&J vaccine, assuming it is similar to the other 2 vaccines, I'll be a lot more comfortable starting to go maskless.
June 4, 20214 yr 8 hours ago, IFB DOG said: WTF do you think changes virus levels???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Let me show you what I mean. Coronavirus infections comes in waves. Starting last year: WTF do I think causes this? 1. The virus is highly contagious. When infections began, it spread quickly, causing a spike in rates. 2. Then the entire country shut down. When those initial infections died down, infection rates went down. 3. Then the country started to reopen. The virus to spread again.... Back and forth it went to now.... When rates were high, we were more careful, staying home, etc. When rates were low, we'd go out to see more people. The weather had a lot to do with it too... Because we only met with people outside, wearing masks, when everybody had no symptoms, we felt even if somebody was infected the chance for transmission was low. If we thought we had been in contact who had coronavirus, we got tested.
June 4, 20214 yr The vilification of Fauci is insane and exactly why intelligent, rational people don't want anything to do with public service, so instead we'll end up with incompetent, irrational morons in these positions. Basically a perfect reflection of our own collective incompetence and irrationality, as we've seen the last 4 years. We get the leaders we deserve.
