June 14, 20214 yr Some of you clowns should go for that booster shot now that demand is down. You know to beat the rush before the unvaccinated catch on. 😂

June 15, 20214 yr My work recently opened the office fully. There have been "essential" people there since about May last year but most office staff worked at home completely. They are permanently adopting a hybrid model with some days at home, and leaving it up to each team to decide if they want them in the office every day, hybrid or all at home, up to them. We are in a very expensive trendy building downtown and they're thinking of saving money but reducing the real estate space they lease and have more hoteling desks and meeting rooms for when people come in for meetings to collaborate. We had a welcome back lunch last week so everyone came in on the same day. No masks and it felt like getting back to normal. It was my first time in the office for 16 months! It was a little odd being thrown into a big group and everyone in the office, but at the same time it was picking up right where we left off. I actually forgot some people's names, ha. The CEO had us all introduce ourselves since there were a bunch of new hires since the pandemic that no one met in person. I met 2 of my co-workers that were hired during the pandemic and have only dealt with on virtual meetings. We also cut off early at 4 for a happy hour at the Mexican restaurant in our building, boss got margarita pitchers for everyone. It was basically a half day with all the celebrations and catching up with people. My team is going to go in 1 day a week to start and plan our team meetings and lunches and such on that day. Seeing everyone in the office with no masks made it seem like COVID is over, like a turning point in a way.
June 15, 20214 yr I'm still holding out on going back to the office. Not so much COVID related, my company was pretty responsible in its management of health and safety in the office. I just hate commuting. I might be one of these "quit before I return to the office" people. I have some options, and working from home just has too many advantages.

Yeah my wife started doing the work from home thing about 6 years ago. I don't think she could ever go back either.
June 15, 20214 yr The Other Fauci Emails By JAMES LILEKS To: Fowchi@hotmail.comFrom: Dr. Tian Heng, Wuhan Virology Lab and TanningSubject: Heads up (09.23.19) Hello my friend. We met at the WHO conference a few years ago in Beijing. The topic was "We Are Totally Not Making Dangerous Germs in a Lab, Why Would You Even Think That?” I gave the afternoon lecture "I Am So Not Making Flu Bugs More Contagious, Promise.” You said to use this email if I ever wanted to get to you through nonofficial channels. We had something of an oopsie, to use your colorful American colloquialism. As you might say, it’s giving us the "Xi-bee jeebies.” Do you recall Secret Project X95, code-named "Innocuous Diversion”? The one where we humanized some mice and shot them full of bat germs? The mice grew wings and were so humanized they applied for a credit card (and were approved! but only a $5K line of credit), and then one of them learned how to use a security badge and got out. Security cameras saw it flying north. Probably nothing, but I’ll keep you in the loop. Tian Heng WVL&T "Where we put the ‘fun’ in ‘gain of function’” From: fowchi@hotmail.comTo: tianheng@Wuhanlabs.chSubject: Secret Project X95 (10.07.19) I just read your email, sorry for the delay. Anything to report? To: Fowchi@hotmail.comFrom: Dr. Tian Heng, Wuhan Virology Lab and TanningSubject: All is well (10.08.19) Bright and wise to hear from you dear friend person of United the States, how are Dodgers doing. I apologize for previously email, story not true. Labs is 100 percent safe, very good on prevent. No viruses are made to bad become, or in mouse on two legs with wings. In future email to me at Prosecutor9@state.security.ch. Very good to you and no worries on the things. From: fowchi@hotmail.comTo: bob[REDACTED]@cdc.govSubject: Project X95 (10.30.19) Hey, have you heard anything from the Wuhan lab? I tried calling them the other day and was on hold for six hours. The recording said my call was very important to them, but I’m starting to wonder. And one of the phone-tree options was "Press 1 if you have been in the same room with a large-winged mouse that had a runny nose.” To: fowchi@hotmail.comFrom: bob[REDACTED]@cdc.govSubject: Possible excrement impacting ventilation blades (10.31.19) Tony, it’s unlikely anything got out of the lab, but just in case I’ve had the PR team come up with a cover story about eating exotic animals. They invented something called a "pangolin.” If the media gets suspicious I commissioned a Wikipedia page with a picture of an armadillo my kid ran through Photoshop. From: fowchi@hotmail.comTo: [REDACTED]@cnn.comSubject: Masks (01.14.20) I hope this finds you well, with no mild fatigue or noticeable loss of taste and smell, which is a normal thing to experience this time of year and means nothing. Just wondering whether your show is planning to do anything about wearing masks in 2020? No reason, but I’d be happy to come on and explain why it’s a really, really good idea. June 15, 20214 yr I mean who didn't see this coming? Even after the libs got the vaccine, they're still masking up because it makes them feel "more secure". It's the adult version of a pacifier.
June 15, 20214 yr I still want to know if @JohnSnowsHair is totally owning those republican idiots who got the mask mandate lifted by holding his kids out of school the last week or if it was all just a CVON virtue signal. I'm starting to think I didn't miss when I predicted he'd send them on.
