June 18, 20214 yr Ol Di is negative for covid19. Thank you @Gannan and @DBW good to know others are not well without having covid. Makes sense it could be something else. The tech suggested allergies but I don't think so. I am feeling better today from yesterday. Headache is gone, but my joints still hurt especially my thigh bones! Drinking ish tons of water, advil, claratin, chicken soup for lunch. Hope all of you and yours are faring well now.

It's a new virus, so we have no clue what the long term ramifications will be since we don't have any long term survivors. But there is some anecdotal evidence of impact to the brain, lungs and heart. This is why anti-vaxxers are so unbelievably idiotic. Guys like our former poster ObeseBuckeye who screamed that his chances of dying were low (despite the fact that he was fat), so why get the vaccine. This is why. Also, I'm guessing the correlation between those who are anti-vaxxers and those who believe this was created in a lab is high (which, for the record, I think is true but obviously can't be certain). Well, if you think this was created in a lab, potentially as a bio-weapon, isn't it plausible it will have long-term negative effects that can't be predicted? The lack of logical consistency among these people is ridiculous. Or said another way -- people are dumb. Sad but true. There are a host of unknowns that'll likely become clearer over time including long term effects of infection. Personally, I'll be interested in that information as I was infected back in December of 2020 before a vaccine was available to me. Whether the virus began in a lab or in nature shouldn't have any effect on an individual accepting a vaccine that so far, has been proven effective and relatively safe. No vaccine in history has been 100% problem free across the world population. It just gives the most people possible, the best chance of not dying from the infection. If dumb people wish to temp fate, then let them. Natural selection is still a thing.
June 18, 20214 yr Since this was found even in those with mild symptoms, we need to stop with the nonsense that granting an EUA for kids is too risky because "they aren't even affected by covid."

Well, with damage to the central nucleus of the Amygdala, how long until violent criminals start trying the Covid-19 defense. "My fight or flight response is out of control so although I didn't intend to harm that person, it just happened on it's own...blah, blah, blah..." Someone is going to try, and it should be entertaining.

A lot of surreal crazy ish happened in the past year, with four seasons total landscaping, leaking hair dye, storming the capitol, jewish space lasers, my pillow guy, etc. but for some reason, "These are short bus people" is easily my personal favorite.

No way. Nothing can top Four Seasons Total Landscaping. First, because I have a shirt to commemorate it. Second, and more importantly, when the campaign called the landscaping shop to schedule a press conference, the person who answered the phone was smart enough to take the appointment and publicity. That was an epic boss move.

June 18, 20214 yr Well, I sure hope you f'ers who didn't get vaccinated for ... reasons ... aren't going out without masks on. This new Delta variant will knock you on your ass. Stay safe, morons.

June 18, 20214 yr After a recent trip to the mall and now outside staples it looks like 90% of people are vaccinated. Great job New JErsey

I stopped to ask a question to one of the military personnel on site as we were walking back to the ferry, and before I could even ask him, he said, "I love your shirt!" It made me very happy.
