They do basically the same thing at my hospital for smokers except they have to give it as a discount for non-smokers. I assume that is how they get around any legal issues.

Same at my job for smokers. We also have to get a wellness exam every year (they do it at work or you can schedule it outside, no charge) or they add 50 dollar charge every month.

Bad optics. Definitely not the smartest thing to do because idiots who don't care that they took significant steps to ensure it was a safe event would use it as a political cudgel. But I have my doubts that the orange former president would take the level of care that the Obamas did for any gatherings they have. (Herman Cain says hi. oh, wait, no he doesn't.)

It's been proven that the vaccinated can and do spread the virus. Obama just doesn't care because he believes himself to be above the plebs.
