You forgot joe Rogan, he has covid and took ivermectin. Is a miracle cure he feels great.  Way to keep the insanity alive joe. 😆

What I’m saying is it’s not the ivermectin itself is used to treat parasites and if I had a tape worm that needed killing and that was the way to do it, fine. It’s approved for that.  But I’m not a trumplican who’s out there injecting my bunghole with bleach and horse drugs because some rando on Twitter says it’s a good idea.

I guess you don't believe that medications can have versatile uses.   Don't worry, if it winds up that Ivermectin effectively treats Covid, nobody will force you to take it - even though you, no doubt believe that recently created vaccines should be mandatory.

What's so messed up about your stance is that you should be pulling for the success of a cheap, readily available medication that has been safely used for decades.  Instead, you are rooting for it not to succeed despite the widespread success it had in India.

Nobody's cheering for anything other than you dolts cheering on a tv game show host playing president. You guys can't understand the most basic principles of science and medicine. We've seen this movie before with HCQ when your idol said it was a miracle cure and it turned out to be snake oil. The fact you can't even admit targeted vaccines are a better prophylactic than off-label use of an anti-parasitic tells us all we ever need to know about your intellect.

Oddly enough people shoving food in their face and people refusing to get vaccines both suffer from mental illness.

Well that explains all of CVON.

 can't bring yourself to answer it, huh?

You already know I got vaccinated recently, so why are you pushing the matter?  Doesn't change the fact that someone I know of died two weeks ago despite being vaccinated.

You can't bring yourself to answer the question of whether or not you want Joe Rogan's treatment with Ivermectin to be successful.  The reason is obvious.   I DARE YOU TO ANSWER THIS.

Your favourite hero - Drawception

So are you admitting vaccines are better than ivermectin?

When did I ever say I wouldn’t want a cheap drug?  In fact several posts ago I commented that Pfizer is working on a pill to treat covid, probably they know what we know, it’s here to stay.  I’m getting a kick out of people raiding shelves at the local Veterinarian office because they believe that a drug, which also Includes ingredients lethal to humans.  If anything, Im rooting for those people to do their part in depopulation.

So now we are listening to Joe Rogan over doctors and scientist? People love listening to game show hosts ( don't forget Rogan did fear factor lol)  for the health of their family.

There is a chance that Ivermectin has some effect on COVID infection, but there is nowhere near enough evidence to suggest its routine use right now.  There are significant issues with many of the trials run so far that make the data difficult to trust (eg in many studies the patients who received Ivermectin were more likely to have received steroids as well).  So worth studying sure, but needs better quality data first. If you're running out to buy horse dewormer at a farm store right now well...it is a anti-parasitic so in a way it's working as intended. Just on a societal scale.

Much less effective than the vaccine as a preventative.  Won't even be even be in the ballpark.  And I would be pretty surprised if it ended up being nearly as effective as things like steroids and MAbs as treatment but we'll see what the trials show.

TL;DR, I won't believe it until the demon semen lady drops a press conference

Good summary.  The simple message: "Nothing proven yet, don't eat the horse medicine, get vaccinated."  At the same time, let's not go around saying it is "proven not to work" as some like to assert (even going as far as linking to studies whose conclusion formally states that there is no conclusion at this point).  There is a chance and we should be hopeful that it does turn out to work in a significant manner though we know the odds aren't good.

I won't trust the CDC and vaccines, but there is a promising study in India regarding horse dewormer.

More than 500,000 children tested positive for Covid-19 in 3 weeks.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/02/health/us-coronavirus-thursday/index.html

But the death rate is low, so what's a thousand or two dead? No big whoop. Don't wear a mask, don't wash your hands, don't distance, yell and act like a moron.

Especially don't get vaccinated when you can take horse dewormer.

Which idiot in here said that?

No.  And by all means don't take this post as one supporting people not to get vaccinated and to go to the pet store to buy their meds.  That's crazy.

If you read through the thread a couple of pages back, you'd see that there are excellent results out of India (a much larger country than the U.S.) to push back the Delta surge with cheap Ivermectin as vaccines were largely unavailable.  Ivermectin was recently approved in Japan to treat Covid.  There was a scientific study I posted a couple of pages back showing very good promise with Ivermectin as it has been shown to have anti-viral aspects.

I asked WGB whether or not he wanted Joe Rogan to get better - not because he likes or doesn't like Joe Rogan, that's irrelevant.  The relevant part is that if Joe Rogan gets better from using Ivermectin, it indicates that we have a cheap drug to effectively treat infection.  This is critically important because we are seeing breakthrough infections from people who were vaccinated.

The sick part is that while the vaccine has had numerous side effects and deaths attributed to its use, while breakthrough infections are happening in vaccinated people, there is an ongoing smear campaign against cheap drugs that have been safely used for years.  Ivermectin is safe and cheap.  Whether or not it is also used for veterinarian purposes is irrelevant.

Do YOU trust pharmaceutical companies?  Do you think they would push expensive products over cheap alternatives if they stood to make billions?

Taking ivermectin regularly, you'd easily outpace the cost of a single vaccine dose.

trumpbot: "Ivermectin needs to be taken prophylactically!"

also trumpbot: "Take it regularly, and forever, since covid isn't going away. Don't worry about the long-term effects or costs of doing so! We can't let big Pharma win!"

Can you kindly quote the portion of either article that indicates the drug has been approved by the Japan equivalent of the FDA to treat or prevent against covid infection?

You seriously need to examine yourself - you are behaving exactly the way you are accusing others of behaving.  I posted the material on Ivermectin primarily for people who are infected and as possible regimen to prevent hospitalization.  Instead, you people go off on how its used for animals and trying to smear this drug.  Get a grip and open your eyes.  There is a LOT of money at stake here and when money is involved, people do bad things.

If you implicitly trust big pharm, you seriously need to have your head examined.

You know it doesn't say that, but you ignore the rest of it.  Go ahead, ignore what is happening in India and Japan.

And of course you never did respond to my question of whether or not you want Ivermectin to work on Joe Rogan.  You refuse to.  Until you do so, please don't respond any further to my posts.

Oh so you didn't say these words?

Really, you mean the deranged dozen on this thread have no problem with Ivermectin if its prescribed by a MD - even if prescribed for treatment or prophylactic purposes

Did I imagine that last part there?

Wait, so it wasn't approved in Japan to treat covid? Aw shucks, you were so close though!
