There it is. He was a nice prospect, and was playing. Didnt make sense that theyd just drop him abruptly for a strained or bruised glute. Knew he must have done something.

Well there went a big lead immediately after halftime. Nice way to have them come out Doc.

On a positive note, at least we aren't the Nets

The biggest pleasure from this NBA season for Sixers fans will have to be watching Simmons with the Nets.

Embiid is questionable for tomorrow's game. Non-COVID illness.

Doc says he thinks every night with Joel is questionable. They want to make sure he feels great every night.

They still had opportunities but had many bad trades and drafting poorly truly shut the door

Right, how many more draft picks and how many years would have been enough. The Process was ultimately unsuccessful for one primary reason named Ben.

Simmons/Fultz

Fultz was a huge loss. Imagine if we ended up with Tatum.

Yes, but I think Simmons would have been enough if he lived up to his potential or even close to it.

They would have taken Tatum first. We just didn't have to give up a first rounder to take Fultz. iirc Fultz was traded for the pick that ended up being Maxey. So it worked out.

Yeah but they were never getting Tatum. If the Celtics thought there was any chance of the Sixers taking him, they’d have never done the trade.

Good.  Bad signings and bad process. Permanent mark against Morey who deserves to be kicked out the door with Glen

Embiid out tonight, non covid illness

I never thought I would have said this but...it's time, I'm of the realization that he slows down an offense, if someone would give us an incredible package, I'd say trade him.

Bill Simmons has hinted at the Knicks a few times this year. Joel's former agent is Leon Rose, the VP for the Knicks

Stephen A said it a year or two ago, and at the time it was complete blasphemy. Not because Joel is/was so good, but like, the team was really good and it just made no sense.

But he stated it almost as fact that Embiid wanted to go play for NY.

Now, I heard that was mentioned on Bill Simmons recently again. I dont know if hes rehashing Stephen A's old comments, of if Simmons is hearing this stuff himself, recently.

I say, go ahead. He is never going to be healthy in a post-season. Never has been. Never gonna win with him. Not gonna win with his style. Not gonna win with his leadership, or lack of. Not gonna win with his perpetual injuries or illnesses.

Some will be butthurt and throw this in my face every time he goes for like 40 and 20 this year. I dont care. Hes a proven loser in the playoffs. I stand by what I say regardless of whatever he does in a bunch of meaningless regular season games.

This is what I thought. Never made sense to have tampering allegations over Harden. He was our player. The NBA did work in the past to encourage player loyalty to their team. Harden gave up  money to stay with his team. And the NBA got mad about it. Ridiculous. But, makes sense that they found no wrong doing.

However, it would have almost been worth it to lose picks for a player like harden, as opposed to losing picks for Tucker, and House.

And those guys were OBVIOUS tampering.

May be a Twitter screenshot of 1 person and text that says 'Tweet Shams Charania @ShamsCharania The league's investigation found no wrongdoing in James Harden's near $15 million pay cut last summer but findings showed that the 76ers made early free agency discussions with Danuel House Jr. and PJ Tucker, NBA says. Shams Charania @ShamsCharania @Shams 13m The NBA has taken away the 76ers' second round picks in 2023 and 2024 for early free agency discussions last offseason.'

Morey is such a Fing idiot.

True, and Fultz. The Spurs were asking for Ben when Kawhi. Imagine if they had made that deal? Imagine if the league imposed GM didn't trade up for Fultz and give up the LA pick in the process. Keeping Bridges would have been nice as well.

The Process was to put them into a position to succeed and it was a success. The problem is the wrong people were GM to oversee the assets it amassed.

This really might be the right time to trade Embiid. We’ve all been saying for a few years now that his declined will likely come at a relatively young age and it will happen fast. We may be seeing the start of it.

Sure, he’ll still have some dominant games, but overall he may actually be a detriment to the team at this point. I know it won’t happen, but trading him could be the key to rebuilding on the fly. We’ve got Maxey as the key piece of the team to build around going forward.

Before we start talking about trading Embiid, I'd like to take a run with him with a better coach.

I hope Harris sees the difference it can make watching the Phillies.
