Despite his greatness, Embiid is going to lose it for us. Trying no look passes out of the high post, and then step back 3s when the ball eventually makes it back to him. The high post shot that he passed on would have been way better than a bricked 3.

Say what you want about him, but this is a gutsy effort from Embiid

Edwards may have made a game saving defensive play on that Melton breakaway.

I thought 6ers should have fouled before that. 1 point game. You let them hit a 3 at the end of the shot clock you are left with 6 seconds down 2 scores.

Should have fouled. Even if they make both FTs, youre only down 2 points with plenty of time to have a good possession and run something on offense.

Then I thought, Oh Ill take that steal and fast break layup for the lead! But it was kind of a disaster in the end.

What the F was that from Melton?

Either Edwards blocked it from behind, or Melton was just that nervous hearing those footsteps with the game on the line.

But I think Doc really Fd up not having them foul before that.

Here we are with a 3 point game and 4 seconds left.

We could have had a 3 point game with like 20 seconds left which is time to run an offense.

lol. god that was ugly. and thats why you want 20 seconds instead of 4. Doc...

Pretty gutsy performance on the second night of a back to back down harden, Harris and maxey. I thought they were gonna just get smacked especially when they got down 17.

can shake and melton please play like they have the last two games more consistently. That would be amazing. Even with melton’s layup at the end of the sixers got this out of them off the bench more often our bench would look a lot better.

He ished himself and just threw it up in hope. He slowed down instead of just going for the rim and finishing it. He had Milton following, he could have passed it to him at some point if he didn't want the shot

Tucker is a liability on offense. He refused to shoot anything that wasn't a wide open corner three

I just think Melton is a better starter then bench player.

He let's the game come to him.  Which takes time.  He doesnt come in and just let it rip.

Even then,  there's more to his game than scoring.  He can't pile up rebounds steals and assists without time on the court.

i think the overwhelming problem starting him is they don’t have great size if they start him and maxey together. I get he has really good length but he’s still 6’2 and ditto with maxey. Already have a rebounding issue. I think that’s the worry. It actually makes a ton of sense if they somehow got KD then to start him cause you have more size at that point to have him out there. (Not saying they deal for KD or getting him, just hypothetically if that did happen)

PJ Tucker’s last 3 games:

0 PTS, 33 MIN, 0/1 FG

0 PTS, 32 MIN, 0/1 FG

0 PTS, 30 MIN, 0/0 FG

Crazy thing is...... He's +33 in those three games.

Can we fire doc now?

Embiid out the next 2 games at least with foot sprain.  Time to tank….oh wait

Hope his mental health doesn't flair up

guys...i know the sixers are without embiid, harden, & maxey for ben's return to philly tonight...but tobi might play!

I just caught some of Skip and Shannon because I knew that they'd being talking about this.

Shannon: "Embiid out with a foot injury.  Harden out with a foot.  Maxey with a broken bone in the foot.  Skip, what's going on in Philly?  Are they playing in flip flops!?"

This team is done...window closed/missed.  I so wish we could go back in the way back machine and keep Hinkie and see what he could have/would have been able to do.

Outside of an unlikely fluke run in the playoffs, if we are lucky enough to have everyone healthy and in shape, I think this is the most likely reality.

My fear is they wait too long to accept it and miss the chance to sell off the pieces until they've lost much of their value.

Trade Embiid, build around maxey.  Trading Embiid would dramatically shorten the team’s rebuilding period.

Simmons is actually having a good game tonight
