So is Doc just going to leave Embiid out there until he collapses from exhaustion? It’s been clear for the last five minutes of that quarter that he needed a rest

Team just isnt good enough. Not long enough. Need to focus on getting taller players. 

Melton is a good defender. But Melton on Tatum just doesnt work. Tatum too big for them. Just bullies his way wherever he wants to go.

If Kate Scott called a game like Doris Burke I would like it much better

Tbh i think you have to let harden walk to Houston this offseason.. Giving him a 4 year max isn’t worth it. You’ll just keep getting to this point and he’ll struggle more as he gets older. Then get stuck in that contract for at least 3 years. He’s bad unless he has 2+ days off in the playoffs. Can’t do it. He just isn’t good enough at this stage to be the no. 2 on a championship team. Unfortunately the Celtics are a bad matchup for maxey. 

Harden has been a complete Liability. They’re better off with Melton and Maxey in the backcourt. I know Maxey isn’t shooting well either, but at least he isn’t turning it over and just killing the entire offense.

Said it for a while now but 6'2" combo guards have a ceiling. Maxey could be #3 on a championship team but not a #2

Yeah i don’t think the sixers have a shot to get another star to pair with embiid to have that 1a and 1b. It’s what’s going to keep them from a title along with poor bench and doc. The sixers don’t have the assets to bring that guy in and they continuously fail to build a playoff caliber bench. Besides melton and maybe Reed the rest of that bench is terrible in a playoff series against good teams
